*SPOILERS*
I stopped reading this for awhile so I don't remember some parts that well but read the recent chapters to finish and boy I DID NTO REGRET A THING. It was certainly heartbreaking to see when they finally decided to part ways, it was so dramatic but loved. And the art- holy shit- I felt like it got better and it's just *chef's kiss*. ANyways- I can see how people can ship Yul and Sian and all but Yul does have a mental illness and Sian didn't like a controlling relationship dynamic as seen many times during the story- and I think Yul needs to figure out stuff with himself first before even getting into a relationship. I lowkey wished Sian would have sticked around with Yul and become friends and all and also help him recover but Yul was fine in the end and I think separation between them gave Yul the time to really recover and realize some stuff. It'd be much better if someone was there to help him get over this though instead of going through it alone. : (
I also liked the author's choice for the ending because their relationship was toxic first of all and realistically won't have a good end game anyways. I'm into more realistic endings with "twisted" stories like these so I dig with this ig mwahaw
I still would like to see more of Yul's development though lol. I didn't see more of his development until like literally last minute before the ending (unless I missed some parts of the story but I don't think so??). I'm also fucking pissed with Yul's parents- I wish they both can settle down and actually work it out with Yul. smh. I still believe the author didn't give Yul more redemption and screen time to show ''his happy ending'' compared to Yujin (?) and Sian's ending, happy for them but I'm distraught for Yul and his story at the ending. It doesn't feel right but ig the author's jsut going to leave it at that.. :(
Still, cheers to all of their character development ig (except for Yul's shitty parents and Sian's shitty mother lol). :D
I only read half of the manga cause I got lazy but I totally agree! The ending was so beautiful to read, it seems like both sides are at peace. I wish we could’ve gotten a scene where Yul was in therapy to show his mental improvements and how he’s trying to be better. I honestly don’t get the part where people ship Yul and Sian because they were SUPER toxic with each other. They excuse with him being pretty but that literally is not the energy we need. He was obsessive, a stalker and probably a pathological liar ( maybe even more but idk )
Istg this is like a stress reliever everytime i read this awawkdkskskwkwwww
