So the Prince is a bit delusional XD, he assumes that EVERYONE loves him unconditionally and hasn't ever experienced someone disliking him or ignoring him (aside from his father + swordmaster). So for the next couple of chapters our girl ignores him while fangirling inside (cuz hes cute) and feeling super bad for him.
The Prince then confronts her basically saying "Why aren't you paying attention to me?! I thought you WANTED this engagement out of ALL OF THE OTHER GIRLS in the kindgom sMH :/"
MC gives him a talk about how people only like the Prince because he's well....the Crown Prince, and says how the majority of people don't love the Prince for himself but how they can use him (i.e. literally the example they use is the MC's dad LMAO)
