I feel so bad for yoshiki, and for r!Hikaru too. They both probably deeply loved each other and Hikaru obviously wanted to protect Yoshiki only to die and have his body used like a puppet from something acting as him. I have no sympathy for O!Hikaru, although he didn’t mean to this possess hikaru’s body they still did. I also feel like, because of this Yoshiki’s mental state is worsen not only because of that item he’s holding and that scar O!Hikaru caused but because he never had the change to properly heal over his best friend’s death. Yoshiki was already a timid and shy person but to add salt to the wound to have his only friend who he fully and truly loved taken from him and his body used like a puppet must been so hard. And now gaining the knowledge that the puppet master who is using his bsf’s body is a God of spirits must be heart wrenching. I understand why people call this a romance but its barely is

They did not have to make it that Lambert romantically loved his sister for the betrayal to be justifiable. It was so unnecessary. It's honestly the only bad part of IFTV.

This is getting physically tiring to read, the chapters are getting stacked together with other translation groups, side note; I fucking hate the dragon first of all, has he never heard of personal space, and idk bout you, but if someone i barely met reminded me of my abuser and they got to live in the same house as me and STILL hugged me, i would not feel comfortable even looking at them in that point, (lets not forgot he says, "MY HEBIB!' when the twins are leaving his domain). I hate how the story is less focusing on both of the twins and more on the female twin, as if the male twin wasnt there (눈‸눈) yeah we got to see ariens guardian but that was for only 2-3 chapters, the rest of the chapters are bout the arjen and her hebib blood or whatever,
1. I think Arjen is the boy and Arien is the gal.
2. The Guardian isn't just Arjen's. Jason is the Guardian of both. Arjen simply as stronger reactions to him because he has stronger imperial characteristics.
3. I think the attention is more on Arien, here, because the characteristics of Heibi are stronger in her which will be something she will struggle with as that's something from their mother.
4. Arjen isn't completely pushed aside, I feel this is putting emphasis on the differences between the twins (the liked scent thingy, and now the emperial/heibi characteristics)
5. How you think you'd react to their situation doesn't invalidate how they did react. You're you, they're them. Not everybody reacts the same.
The way I read it; they've gotten more secure with their brothers and dad around so they aren't having a huge response to the reminder of their mother now. A sublime example is a few chapters back with the boy who insulted them for being bastards, for exactly the same reasons Arjen got mad Arien could keep her calm: "Because they have the support and love of their family now".
I also feel it might not be a "he reminds me of her" kinda situation with him, but " He recognised some of her in me" so they'll be uncomfortable when he makes mentions of their mother or calls them heibi. They might react but not always; because he himself isn't a trigger but the mention of their mother and the term heibi might be.

We probably won't know until the official translation comes out. I think it's fair to assume that she's hostile towards Perry because she's married to Theo and thats what Mia wanted. Her being jealous of Islette does not make any sense to me, maybe because of translation? In ch. 93 Phineas says that some of the relatives don't like that Islette is now his adopted daughter, when she was previously from a 'collateral line of the family'.
My theory is (I've only just thought of this as I'm writing this) that Islette is obviously from a lesser line of the family, she been adopted into the main line of the family that go on to becoming the heads of the family. If something happened to Theo, Celphi (Theo named him the next heir), Saorise(was the previous head, so she could take over again) all in one day then Phineas may end up as the grand Duke. If he didn't want to be then Gloria could take over until Islette is old enough. It may not be quite as deep as that but I think it's a good theory.
Yes it would have been incest, Mia is apparently cousins with Theo though we don't know how far apart in the family tree they are. Historically distant cousins have married, and luckily their children have not been genetically malformed unfortunately there were people within familes that married their siblings, parents, uncles or aunts. They would have married relatives so that family assets, like money or property, would stay within the family and possibly because there was no one else to marry.
In the case of this story it's to keep the family curse a secret, I don't know if Mia has feelings for Theo, she might just want to advance her station.
