Like if we had to be “force” to live forever, undying, forever stuck at the age of 17…. Losing your king, your comrades/friends, and lover. Zeno doesn’t want to have to rewatch over again with Yona and the others. ╥﹏╥ I would blame him for doing it and it kinda sucks to be eternal when everyone you know will soon return to the ground. With those following two panels, I fear he will resolve to do one of two things:
1. Kill Yona.
2. Kill Hak so Yona will kill him. (Most likely)
Both of which may be the way to end his life.

this is something completely off topic, but i just wanted to say something. those two possibilities were something i thought of in the beginning of YOTD - with Soo Won instead of Zeno. i always thought it was crazy how Soo Won would immediately try and drop Yona just because she was in the way of his pursuit to become king, but then i thought…
“what if there was a small part of Soo Won that wanted to kill Yona so Hak could kill him? or threaten them with Yona’s death so Yona and Hak could truly hate him?”
he knew that they were going to hate him for assassinating the second king, so why not tear the relationship with both of them even further apart so they will hate him without regrets? he threw away his best friends, even though it hurt, because he knew what he had to do for the sake of the kingdom.
As much I want to get invested, it’s just boring, like either it need to amp up with the plot or should’ve went a different route, the art is good but plot is boring

Let’s say he does a lot of manipulation and isolate her which made him become obsessed with her overtime, reminding him with his pet yellow bird in a cage, trap and only depend on the provider. Like a master and slave relationship in a way ( kind of, so don’t take it literal but because of their status in the hierarchy during the time period, master-slave relationship) . Plus after she runs away and he’s searching for her. After all he has done, he does not regret it nor does he feel sorrow he has cause like breaking Leila and Kyle’s engagement.
Also I wanted to punch him when he didn’t regret it -.-

The best ending will be when the series ends….. I really was invested when he “almost “ got everyone but up till where his gramps and brother died… it became “oh here we go again but let’s make it more in realistic and add more guts and blood and repeat stuff” I do hope for a happy ending!
