I've got complaints regarding the plot and general character development but my main peeve here is: why is the art quality going down???
Ngl, I gave this a shot because MC's manager was BEAUTIFUL and it was such a unique character design for a manager, I thought it would have some relevance but then he just gradually got uglier and even his earrings disappeared. Also, blond actor? Ain't he supposed to be super beautiful, a star with talent and looks? So why tf is he always drawn uglly af???
Also, not to be me, but I found this at https://www.mangago.zone/genre/Psychological/?f=1&o=1&sortby=update_date&e=Yaoi,Shounen%20Ai,Shoujo,Yuri,Josei,Romance,Doujinshi,Smut,One%20Shot,Ecchi,Shoujo%20Ai,Harem,Bara so why is the psychological factor so overlooked/like the author is winging it? And why tf is there a prominent romance plot (I got all romance related genres blocked, ffs!)? And why won't the author even work on the ladies? All we ever get from them is pining and "why am I suddenly interested in him", it's so one dimensional… he won't give us details on the Mc, won't make us care about the ladies that are into him
I need this to get a drama. I don't even need it to be explicitly BL, just keep it as it currently is, I'll feast on it! I already have some dylfs (39 to 55) in mind
as for it to be explicitly BL, it doesn't actually even count as a BL in some ways. It's like homies being real comfortable with eo too much but still homophobic.. it's giving me those vibes honestly. Anyways, it's really just about an old man finding out he turned to be a vampire and an unhinged boy, they deal and with Sayo using Yamadera as a survival. It's better off with it as a seinen (?) manga.
His dad? A neglectful abuser who never notices anything and hits his son without even listening to him
His step mom? An opportunistic manipulator who only cares about status and money and steps on whoever for her own comfort
His childhood bestfriend? A vain person who lacks empathy and prioritizes her (months old) boyfriend over their (decade long) friendship
His boyfriend? A coward stalker who has punched him before, making him BLEED and is absolutely willing to use his boyfriend trauma (home abuse, sexual assault, obvious depression), to hurt him because he can't deal with the fact that his crush likes women and his boyfriend set up said crush with the girl he was into.
His school friend? A blind dick (for brazilians: escravoceta) who sees a guy and a girl smiling together and assumes they are dating and accuses his FRIEND of cheating with his girlfriend (tbh me in Cirrus place also wouldn't tell the truth if somebody who calls me friend accused me of cheating just because we existed next to each other).
Is there any good humans around him? Like at all?
FREE MY BOY!!
Why the fuck is she mad? She knew he set them up, so much she asked for compensation to go on that first date, it was not FOR FREE, out of her own volition. Yeah he didn't clear up the misunderstanding but that's not reason enough to slap him??? Specially with everything she knows he's going through, a best friend — which she has been presented as — would be mad but hold back for the moment because of everything that's happening like… does the author lack friends who truly fully love them? Because friendship includes making concessions and realizing when someone's mental state is too weak to be able to handle the consequences of their actions (which only requested like three screams and a day of radio silence if he were in a normal health state, which he is not).
Everyone keeps lashing out on him over things that they got no right for overreacting lol
Do I need to read kiichi first or can I wing it?
