Here is what Google says:
""If you are talking about the relationship between someone and their grandma's sister's grandchild, the distance in relation would be considered a second cousin once removed; you share a great-grandparent with this person, making them your second cousin, and the "once removed" part signifies that there is one generation difference between you and them (your grandma's sister's grandchild is a generation below you).
Explanation:
Your grandma and her sister share the same parents (your great-grandparents).
Your grandma's sister's grandchild is the child of your great-aunt, making them your second cousin.
Since you are one generation above your grandma's sister's grandchild, they are considered "once removed"""
And there isn't much of a law to even prohibit marriage of second cousins once removed. Plus, they can't have offspring anyway. This isn't omegaverse. Plus, in most other countries, there are closer cousins that do marry. Consider this as "distant relatives". It isn't incest. Good grief.
Educate yourselves.

Everyone saying such negative things.. ^^;;; this is where the term "hopelessly in love" comes from. They're both hopeless, and in love. They both made mistakes and acknowledged them. Saki understands that Gaira doesn't have anyone else but Saya to compare her to, plus the PTSD he must have gotten from it. She understands him. This she can easily forgive. And while Gaira may have seen Saaya in Saki at first, he does eventually see just her and tries to apologize and make up for his wrongdoings. They both were basically desperate for each other.
And the SA? He was basically triggered and went temporarily insane. The only reason he became sane again was because Saki knew how to reach him and then reassure him that he was forgiven. Which was a big healing step for Gaira, and to help him move on from Saaya and love Saki for who she actually was.
Thanks for reading my ted talk. Now stop being so dang negative, go read fluff if that's what you really wanted. Like geez . .

The problem is that the story was just bad. The build up was minimal, there was only sex when there could have been some real heart-to-heart moments or discussions between the two. I'm still not even convinced the god loves Saki, if he's still that hung up on her ancestor, he certainly isn't. And if it's based on a trauma of her abandoning him, they did not address it.
Also I don't buy that Saki loves him, the author made it seem like this calculation was sufficient in creating a female lead: pathetic/pitiful = loveable. Nice to her + sex = I love you. BORING, have her wield a damn weapon, have her have a weird personality, have her slap him and demand answers.
Also the damsel in distress female trope is really just done so many times, it's like beating a horse three months rotted. The story was disappointing.

Well... Though while repetitive, it IS a trope. Meaning, not just used(tried), (and)but also works(true) to a fault. An easy go to, if you will. And to some, it's their cup of tea. But like I said, it's just a story where you really have to read, not just the pages, pictures and words, but also between the lines to really get the best read that you can get from it. I understand you didn't enjoy it. That's fine. You have an opinion. It's nice to know you prefer stronger heroines. But this heroine wasn't strong physically, she had to be strong mentally. And sometimes, that makes all the difference.

I'm not really sure what you mean by mentally strong - she wasn't that either and whenever I mention any form of strength, I absolutely include "mental" strength, far beyond physical strength. I would have loved it if she was physically weak or even lame and turned out to be some bad ass girl with a hell of a lot of self respect and willpower. But she wasn't.
I will point out the areas where I thought she was an incredibly weak character - accepting her fate as a sacrifice despite not wanting to, letting the god solve her problems and become her happiness (through sex), when she got kidnapped by the guy she claimed so loved (the human) she just gave up and lied down, saying "I can't do anything by myself, I can't do anything without Gaira (or whatever the god's name was)". Also, it was not brave for her to pick the god, it was easier, far far easier since she was already in love with him and the alternative was a guy who (she already stopped loving since she's in love with the god) and a village that made her a sacrifice. She even says to the god that if they were separated, she couldn't continue living -_-'. She also never asks him to explain who she is to him and whether it had anything to do with his lingering feelings for her ancestor.
Girl's reason to live was the god. I'm sorry but she's a weak character with no individuality. I like smut and I know it's not going to be the most complex or interesting plots but I don't think that's an excuse for such a boring, boo-hoo pity me character.

Understanding. Unconditional. Yes, it can be seen as weak. Most people would think it is. But it's also the groundwork for... Well, hope. She may have resigned herself as the role of sacrifice... But she did believe she would die, so she didn't have hope to begin with. Coming from that.... The alternative she has now is basically ideal compared to what she thought it would be.

Sorry for delayed response, was trying to remember the name of a manga. "W-Juliet" had a strong FL but it's a bit of a girl dressed like boy trope. She identifies as a girl but she's tall and strong and so was often thrusted into the role of the boy (other girls also have a crush on her). It's a straight manga and there's no smut. The guy is beautiful but he isn't weak so they don't play into the weak female characterization anywhere. It's a sweet one that I enjoyed, though a little old.
My absolute favorite straight romance comic with a strong female lead is "Moonrise by the cliff". It is sexy, hot, and heart-wrenching and the romance is believable though sad (w/ a happy ending). It is an all time favorite of mine and I've read a lot of manga/manhwa/webtoons/romance books: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_moon_on_the_cliff_19/
Webtoons tend to cater more to the strong FL stories though they are almost always "no smut" and has a lot of historical/fantasy transmigration lean. I particularly enjoyed "I've Become A Crow" (it's pretty funny since she transmigrates back into time as a crow). There's also "Beware the Villainess", "Lady and the Beast" - I heard they 're pretty good.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’m really isekai’ed out lol, so I will check out the Moonrise by the Cliff.
Also, it’s not smut by any means, but amazing female characters and hilarious story that is witty and surprisingly thoughtful: Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell and Vampire Family. I love these two. And again no smut, but excellent FL and interesting story: Hand Jumper.

I haven't read it on mangago really but in the image clips of snapshots, it shows that the translation is fine (but this is likely reflective of later chapters). You could skip around and see, they also talk in historical manner so maybe the translators had a hard time figuring that out. It is a little slow in the beginning which is why I don't think it gained any traction, but entirely up to you :).
I'm also pretty tired of isekai - they seriously ran that to the ground. Unfortunately, I don't read a whole lot of straight manga anymore so I can't propose many others (though I have hundreds if you like BL).
Ah, if you like highschool romance, I heard Horimiya is pretty good.

I really like the seirra and sho uploads alot better! They have a better translation and the memes are top tier! Why fight?? We know who uploaded first. We know who takes the original author into account. Not many take that into account but those that actually care, DO. WHY
WHY FIGHT.
IT'S JUST BS
WHY QUIT
YOU'RE TAKING A F-ING MANGA I LOVE AND RIPPING IT AWAY
It's just better to pay at this point.
Fuck ya'll....
MY HEARTU. JUST PLEASE GET IT OUT THERE ALREADY
