Aigoo, I read the whole thing again and everything is too fast paced. There's a lot of detail being left out specifically the uke's thoughts and monologue. In here, it seems like they portray the uke to be someone who's an airhead(?) idiot. But he is anything but that. His background as well was not explained properly.
So let me gave a bit of an explanation. Uke is a recessive omega who grew up without his parents. His grandma was the one who raised him to adulthood. Uke is a highschool graduate and stopped studying for college for various of reasons like safety since he is an omega and it is common for omega's to be grape and SA'd in this story and also to be with his grandma as well who unfortunately died just when he reached 18.
The grandma that they are talking about was the neighboring grandma who is taking care of uke since he is left alone now. The neighboring grandma and uke's grandma are best friend. So please do not be confused with the details. The person you saw with the uke who trimmed his hair was the neighboring grandma's grandson. They are friends.
ML is such a huge manipulator and who manipulate people at its finest. All throughout the story, he constantly gives me this off putting feeling that I can't be with him or else I'll be damned.
MC on the other hand, I can somewhat, a little , relate to what he's thinking. Aside from his constant promiscuity, I feel his emotions and the weariness of just basically everything. Gosh, I love him.
Anyway, I love the story. The ending is okayish, although I think the ML should have suffered more.
Everything is good. It's a romantic comedy and I had a few laughs while reading it. Anyhow, the translations is quite off the charts but bearable enough to read.
For some reasons, I don't want him to go back to his boyfriend, Ryohei. Uke better be left to Yuki as it seems like they have chemistry too. On top of that, he(uke) already let Yuki have his ways around his body so going back to Ryohei is just, I don't know, dirty(?) I can't find the right right words. Mako's heart is already wavering anyway, and since the option appeared which is Yuki, he better just choose him in the end. After all, if he really loves Ryohei, no other option will appear in the first place and temptations or whatnot. If you do not want it to happen, you won't let it happen. Cheating is a choice. I counted it, it's already thrice at this point so yeah, better stay with Yuki than go back to Ryohei and oh, please break up first. That's just my input.
In Ryohei's side, we do not know yet the reason as to why he is treating his bf like that. Be it cheating or some sorts of secrets, we do not know yet so it's a mistake to assume. In my case, I think since Mako said his birthday is coming up soon. My mind came up with an idea that Ryohei might be planning a surprise or a proposal perhaps(?). Hence, his treating uke like that. But that's just my mind doing its own minding okay haha. If they truly no longer love each other, better communicate properly and end things nicely because at least at some point, that person was once a precious person to you right. ;)
I don't get the low ratings. Although hypersensitivity due to stress is rare, it happens to some people and its not funny at all especially when you can't control your organism. The overall story might sound absurd to some people but it happens in real life and it's cute okiii. They both make a cute couple and I love how they communicate throughout the relationship.
To begin with, the story is good. Its a bit uncomfortable to read but considering the settings of the story. Its no wonder. Nonetheless, it doesn't make it less of a great story. I'll definitely re-read this.
ML's eyes is too scary. It held too much emotion that's hard to tell. It makes me want to run and hide.
I've known these story since it was first released. I didn't read it though as I was waiting for it to be completed. It seems like my patience can't wait so here I am now, after almost 3 to 4 years of waiting. I binge read everything since the afternoon and it was heart-wrenching.
To be fair, as much as I wanted to defend the MC. He really didn't do his job well. His only job was to portray that girl(appear and console the grandfather) and don't leave any of his own traces in exchange for a sum of money for his mother's hospitalization. MC's heart wasn't able to steel his heart and fell in love with our ML and so, he starts little by little leaves his traces. Hence, you could see his conflicted emotions from time to time. He wanted to do his job well so that his mom will be alright but he just so happened to fell in love which contradicts to his role.
I think that's part of the main reason why ML's family didn't like MC that much. After all, he got paid for it but did something idiotic. But what do you say, you really can't control people's heart you know.
I assume, well, in my opinion at least. I think the accident was deliberate. ML's family didn't want our MC to appear again and so, they did that. It is famous within the elite circle to hire somebody to do the dirty job but ensuring success and safety for both party. Well, it's just my opinion. Not necessarily the truth.
I have so much more to say but next time. It's getting too long. ୧(^ ^)୨
I don't know why but somewhere around chapter 14+, I find the MC unlikable. He has no self-respect. It may be due to his trauma but dang, I really hated how he deems himself.
The plot is actually pretty interesting. Its too tiring to explain. Just read more and think more.
Do you guys know some manga, manhua, and manhwa which is similar to Tears on a Withered Flower? I like to read plots that's like it. It doesn't have to be straight couples, it could be bl but please no gl. hehe
I'm starting to love this story. To begin with, she's gotten used to what she knew. She didn't and don't know how to get out, not until Taeha is there to show her the way and to give her some courage as well.
In a sense, she's kinda similar to me. Scared of loud voices especially if its directed towards me. A person who just accepts whatever life is throwing her without doing anything to let it go.
Past is past but its kind of inevitable to still hold on. After all, humans are like that. But then again it's pathetic and pitiful, isn't it?
It's so funny :)
It was honestly good. The plot, the twist, the depths, the toxicity, and the love. Everything was in its place. I can never find something similar to this as for me, this is one hell of a treasure on its own.
I like the end, as fucked up as it is, I truly like the ending. I don't think I can imagine a different end than what was being shown.
I like the characters; the seme, the uke and the dark past that's haunting them. I like it all.
I wish it could be longer though. I want to watch and read it all.
Wow, that was good albeit in a fucked up way. ᕙ( ~ . ~ )ᕗ
Somehow, even though its quite a fucked up story. I quite like the way it turned out to be. Especially the ml, I want to read more stories that's similar to his way of thinking. I think I'm fucked. ᕙ( • ‿ • )ᕗ
They're so cute. It feels like a sin to not do something ehem LOL. But then again, he is so determined.
Actually, the initial characterization was nice. It was well thought about. The problem is, halfway trough the story, the author somehow went awry and these characters turned somewhat retarded and out of character. Hence, people don't really like the development that's happening right now. I don't like it either but well, I guess its fine so long as it get its end and the characters will go back to what they once was. If they can't, no comment.
I'll be gentle.
What a huge lie. I don't believe it. Never again.
After I finish reading chapter 1, I realized something was off. I don't know why but the last panel hurts my heart a little. So I immediately went to the comments section and dang, there goes the reason why.
I feel like something is wrong since the beginning. No wonder, uke is the real psycho in this story.
