Not at the beginning. No, the ML doesn't remember him at all. But halfway through, he did get hints here and there. The final time where he got all his memories back is from where he got his diary back. Remember the time where ML is reading a notebook? That is in fact his diary with MC's picture on it and their ring. When ML throws the ring in the trash. It is actually to confirm that everything is real. So he grew afraid that MC might run away again if he told him the truth and so, he kept it to himself till now. You can try to re-read the story again and you'll get the gist of it.

This was honestly good. Amongst all bl I've read for the entire 15 years. This will now become one of my most favorite to read.
The entirety of the story is heart whelming and a little sad but sweet. The smexy scenes despite not being too lewd as other bl stories, it allows the feelings and the romance to flourish. I really like it! I also really like their chemistry and the questionable depths of darkness and toxicity of the background characters.
Ahh, I think I'll keep re-reading this one again and again. The art style isn't even my style but I really really like the whole plot.
