Genuine question I get why Agiro was so angry about the direct son inheriting the commander role, but why didn’t he just refuse and partner with Ewan instead? There doesn’t seem to be any “bond” that’s forcefully keeping Agiro loyal to the direct son unless I’m not remembering something?
He's basically a "slave", an object. His opinion doesn't matter, mainly if he wants to keep benefiting from being with those on top. Being the pet of someone above allows him more freedom of speech and freedom in general. However, being below will just allow others to treat him like a mutt.
