I mean I get it. If things go south he loses his position in his family (though they'd probably shuffle him off somewhere and marry him off to cover the scandal) and she would be totally fucked. She doesn't have the family backing to make it all go away, she wouldn't get another position like this, her years of hard work and talent would be wasted, her brothers lose their future too.
But damnit is it going to be satisfying when it finally happens

Normally I would be the first on board for a throuple situation, because hell yea, but anytime Phaedra makes a move on her or opens his mouth...it just makes me want to give up on this series. Just because he's hot doesn't make him not gross. She's made the boundary pretty clear multiple times and he constantly is stomping on it.
My only disappointment in this series is the lack of a relationship with Reynold and Penelope. Not romantic or anything; they just have the foundations for a good sibling dynamic, especially at the end they start developing a bond. They are just fun together.
And since they're close enough in age, things that happened in the past while awful really can be chalked up to two grieving children forced into a familial relationship by a grieving absentee father. Does it make it right? No, but understanding and forgiveness. Plus Reynold is pretty emotionally immature, but Penelope can be at times too, that is what makes them so good together. Plus when you throw the prince into the dynamic the 3 make for a fun idiot trio.
I really want to see the two of them being closer like siblings, their relation have so much potential but the story don't explore this relation.. they have such a dynamic..
They will have that dinamic in the future. Reynold will be the only brother that Penny close with in the future. Her kids also loves Reynold soo much... and grandpa too
