Eugene is living in Yujin's body so Yujin can't go back. Eugene is happy because he has a loving family he never had and Yujin does not want to take that away from him.

After the last bog battle Eugene overuses his powers and stops breathing. He then goes into that divine subspace he always goes when gods want to speak to him. Somehow he meets OGEugene and I think they had a conversation and OGEugene showed how he's been coping in Korea. How he had to learn about smartphones and comouters and technology, and how he obviously had to drop out of university bc OGYujin was studying Computer Engineering, man Yujin was smart! By that time I think OGYujin has already forgiven Alexis and they were lovey dovey so OGYujin is sad about not seeing his family, but he also loves his new family here with Alexis. So yeah, bittersweet.

The gods were very unfair to Yujin, imo.
One of the reasons why he is not going back is because whatever he had done in the novel will be overturned. Like he saved his mother-in-law and brother-in-law from death and many people from the plague - all those he saved will die. So aside from his love of the duke and his family and OGEugine living happily, he also does not want the people he saved to die.
For me, that's just very very very unfair to Yujin. Like im glad for OGEugine but it's still sad for Yujin. Iirc he mentioned in the novel that there are times when his chest/heart would still hurt because he misses his family on earth.
This!! This is why i hate the god in this novel so much! The only thing i hate more than the villain or alexis being a jerk. Yujin deserve better. After everything he need to sacrifice, like he almost die several times and yet he can't go home when in the first place he doing all of it so he can go home. Basically he never got any choice. He really doesn't get any deserving reward at all. Alexis love and family is earn by himself not the system. The system only give him power after he begged. I really thought he will go home and alexis would come to search for him and they met on earth, when i read that part he must let go of his family i'm so mad and cry with yujin. Even until the end i still hoping the system will change again but it's never happened. It's make me can't read the side story because i can't just move on how unfair yujin must let go of his family just like that

It's not like he was abused by his family on earth, their family genuinely loved and cared for each other. Of course he would miss them terribly no matter how "good and rich" his life is in the novel.
I love my mom and siblings very very much i kind of understand how Yujin feels. And not even a means to talk to them, imagine! WTF are these gods. Yujin is literally a sacrifice, not an exchange. Not sure how Degona was on earth so I can only say that Yujin is definitely a victim on all of these.
I swear, they better make him a god himself because of how selfless he is.
I think degona isn't a transmigrator, she is regressor. She always been born in that world but she regress every time she got bad end until yujin come to save the world. If i remember Degona did save the world but with so much sacrifice and death so the god sent yujin to save the world and everyone.

I can probably tell where this story is going, Tae-seo, being the rich AH that he is, will hurt Yeomin's feelings, and Tae-seo wouldn't care or whatever. Then after being full of Tae-seo, Yeomin would leave or something, then queue the Top's "Oh so I love him" kinda sht, then reconcile, then probably the reason Yeomin's family has a debt would be because of Taeseo's family, more drama, and ending.
Why can't bottoms w/ story like this be happy, why do they have to get rich assholes attention :/
