Also i cannot understand why Kaelus would fucking want diana to stay in power, she is not just incompetent she is selfish in the sense that she wants her beliefs to be on a pedestal and disregards any and all consequences of her actions, honestly it has nothing to do with just the hate Hestia has for diana anymore, he is literally turning a blind eye on the fact that diana should think about the people but she doesn’t, she shouldn’t be the empress and she shouldn’t be someone who is responsible for the entire empires life’s. I personally don’t hate any of the male leads, and this is definitely a first for the mls not being assholes. I just also feel like for now, neither of the mls are really a good match for agnes especially bc they both sort of have trauma related to the og agnes. it’s js sorta feels wrong for them to be paired with her, like they are slowly forgiving the incidences with the og agnes when in the end mc is a completely diff person. I dont know it just feels wrong.

One thing i’ve realized is that it’s always impossible for the parent to balance the love properly, most parents have at least a little favoritism even among their biological children, and when a child who isn’t related by blood is added to the mix it only adds to the tension, either the bio or adopted kid is favored and the children can tell when that’s the case, and as someone who had jealous issues among my siblings i can’t imagine how it would feel knowing the other isn’t even related to you. It makes you question your whole life, like how can your mom not favor you even when she gave birth to me herself? In the end the mother shouldn’t have had a kid if she was going to treat him like the other orphans thats she’s raising, she even pushed him a bit farther away bc she knew the other kids could get jealous but that’s just wrong.

The funny thing about this is that as the reader we sometimes get sneak peaks of how Diana feels nd like she is like “omg this bitch set me up” but then she speaks to Hestia as if she is a sinner who needs god. Also we can clearly see that although Hestia did plan for this to happen she literally sits nd watches for the most part so she’s literally js pushing a little and Diana is the one who takes fucking leaps at wtv Hestia does, it’s hilarious. Like her ignorance is actually insane
