i get that the side au’s will always be lacking as they are just short “what if” stories but i feel immensely disappointed with Herrace’s story especially, both Eugene and Kain had the least development with mc as they only shared character development with mc in the first like 30-40 chapters, as soon as Daniel was introduced they both pretty much were shoved in the friend zone. Herrace on the other hand at least shared some romantic tension with mc even after Daniel. so the fact that Herraces side story had almost no plot entirely and felt shorter from the others made me so frustrated. the overall story felt pretty rushed near the ending as well, this is maybe due to me already having read the novel but i’m still nonetheless disappointed.
