It's a really beautiful story. It showed the struggle of being gay in a homophobic environment is. It showed it so well with the wanting to be "normal," and being disgusted by yourself. It's very realistic in that sense. It was very emotional to read again. When you eat Farinheit's parents it cut deep. It shows how older people are raised to think of it as gross and enforce on their child. While they may love their child it's still conditional and to an extent. They didn't know how to care for the kid, only knew how to enforce their beliefs onto him.

I do have like a few issues with it. The relationships between characters were fucked. The girl half forced herself onto him. It turned out fine in the end however it was weird. She knew he wasn't attracted to her in that way. She also knew it was selfish and wrong to ask for the kiss. I liked her as a character though. She was helpful, understanding and did her best. The relationship with the old man too? Like did you have to add pedophilia and incest to this? I feel like it was just a bad representation for every single one of the gay relationships to be incestuous or pedophilic. That man was a whole ass married father who fucked with a literal high schooler and lusted after his blood son. The middle schooler had an incestuous (?) And very pedophilic romance with his cousin (?).
I feel like this is really good. It isn't something clueless and dragging out story. It's straight foward and shows they're not some dumb hopeless romantic kids. I really like it. I understand Hyung on how acting ignorant is better. It feels like he's constantly on the point of breaking. He doesnt want to change and ruin his current position and temporary happiness.
I'm so angry. Please, just let her be friends with Theo. Are you kidding me? This kid literally almost sacrificed himself because he thought she was in danger. They probably hurt him or something. You have the AUDACITY to say they should stop meeting? Have you ever considered how Chloe felt about it? That was her only friend and you've just ripped that away from her just because she's a princess. She was a slave first. Theo was there for her first. She ca riches and jewels but you should know damn well Theo is just as important to her as her new family. I'm so angry ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I genuinely think regardless of the lie of falling down the stairs the ballet girl is still more in the wrong. She’s forced her interests and her beliefs onto someone who’s expressed she’s clearly uncomfortable with that obsession! She acts like a suffocating helicopter parent!!!! He lied but who pushed him to it!! She belittled him, never saw him as an equal human being, and decided he was the root of her problems. When in reality her obsession, invasiveness, and “holier than thou” attitude is what made things difficult in the first place! Plus life changes people and their wants so what right does she have to criticize and be mad at another living being who thinks about their future differently.
