
I love how culinary fiction morphed its way into becoming this type of trope. The OG "get stronger/get skills by eating" manga for me is Re:Monster though. I'm pretty sure it influenced a lot of works, the same as it was influenced by isekai works. I'm quite excited with how things will be progressing with this manhwa. I just hope it maintains its antihero/villian vibe, and no going soft becuase of some character. I'm all up for character development, but completely changing a personality is not my jam.
Here i am just liking all the comments saying that vol5ch3 sucked because ITS TRUE. That was the worst chapter so far in this anthology. Who tf would fall for that storyline. If this was released inthe early 2000s then it would be mildly acceptable (since the stories back then were kinda cheap) but goddamn its 2021.
