i believe that they're not spoiling Jeong-Yoon coz he is the youngest or whatsoever (maybe a little), but they just don't want to shock him that they already know the truth (about him being in a relationship with Chae-Heon) and they want him, as long as he is ready, to tell them what his sexuality and his rs with Chae-Heon

i was really hoping they will merge at the end coz well first, it is much healthy (mentally and physically) for the people in the relationship. like after they merge, they'll have this harmonized personality from the both of them. but ig this will how the story goes (really hoping for side stories to come ;-;)

But when they merge Tae oh will cease to exist as the og personality was Taejun's. Even though Tae oh is still Tae jun for Dongjae they are different.
well that's not really how DID works anyway. they don't just seamlessly merge back into one "whole" person as they are two completely separate whole people already. Dongjae would have lost Tae-oh, who was his support and showed him that he deserved to be treated better so to lose him would have been devastating. both of them, separately, are mentally as healthy as they can be. they just share the body still.
