So I recently started re-reading this from the beginning and some things I noticed:

Suu has consistently had memory loss after being "treated" by Jin; even way back during the hunt when Jin fixed his ankle, afterward Suu completely forgot that he was supposed to be looking for Sahara. It may be annoying as a plot device, but the amnesia wasn't tacked on as an afterthought for the author's convenience. At one point within the first 10ish chapters, Suu even complains that he might be getting dementia!

A theme that is prevalent in the early chapters is how ignorance is bliss -- there is some information you just don't want to know, information that you can't unlearn that makes you unsafe. I wonder if Suu hurting himself intentionally in this chapter is so he can purposefully use Jin's amnesia power to forget the encounter he had with the consort?? He has to use this to his own advantage at some point.

Also, I peeked ahead in the raws a little and noticed there's a scene in chapter 101 that Sahara has a premonition of way back in CHAPTER 30. This manwha is insane!

Omg that makes so much sense!!!! I love how foreshadowing is done in this comic, everything is intricate and tied up together. I love well thought out plots

lube shenanigans aside i like this author, i think they write pretty nuanced characters and explore new ground in storylines that would normally be cliche

(spoilers)

i agree that sa-in's past was a bit of a cop-out given how long the build up was and the gravity he and eunjoo treated the secret with. it feels like the author laid the groundwork for sa-in to have committed a real crime, but at the last moment didn't trust the readers to still be able to sympathize with this already complex and often frustrating character.

but i love sa-in! he seems so self-aware in these final chapters, and it's those characters that are aware of the ways in which they ruin themselves but can't find away to stop doing it that really get to me. luckly sung-jae has him all figured out by now and can circumvent sa-in's self-destruct measures lol. thanks for uploading, i'm happy to finally finish this one!

They all couldve avoided this if they just talked it out like -_____- Sa in is a person that needs loads of reassurence and has perpetual doubts. I know this because I relate (lol) It can def work but the partner needs to be naturally kind to be able to put up with that. Communication is so overlooked smh
