For me, i don’t like alternative ‘what if’ universes, all feelings aside about the characters and what happened in the main one, it just seems like an insult to the main couple for me, but i don’t begrudge it for the people who wanted it. Comparing the real couple and the ‘what if’ couple (neither couple is perfect, it wouldn’t be a real relationship if it was), I personally think Chiwoo and Kyujin are the healthier couple of the two. It seems to me that Kyujin cherishes Chiwoo but Jihyun is possessive and domineering of Chiwoo. In the real story Jihyun will grow from this and find his own healthier happiness, but if it didn’t happen he never would. I would have preferred an extra of Jihyun reflecting, growing and moving on, but you cant please everyone, im grateful none the less.
Exactly but that is the reason why most like it because it is an insult to the main most will try to make excuses as why they like it but what you said is the bottom line. I don't like Jihyun at all but it would have made for a better side story if it showed him moving not creating a parallel universe which still could be said it's all in his head that isn't healthy. This is basically fan service gone wrong and all this does is discredits the main couple. And idk if the author actually thought deeply about or did she succumb to peer pressure from those who ship him and chiwoo. In my opinion I think it was peer pressure because I've never in all my days of reading yaoi have read something like this. I sing the author praises for the main and the seven extra chapters but the last two nope!

You ‘wouldnt want to have a fight with someone you love, you’d want to laugh it out’ but you’ll cause pain and unhappiness because that is all you did you selfish prick! If you love someone you don’t sexually harass them and force yourself on them. Acting like you’re the better catch HA! Just because you took a shine to him doesn’t mean he has to like you back! Also he was about to punch his Mum in anger. His character ruined this for me, but alls well that ends well i guess.

I was quite disappointed with this end. They dont even have a conversation, and the seme willingly broke up with the uke just like that. He only changed his mind because of the uke speaking up to that nasty girl. His feelings seemed fickle and the uke just seemed to accept it. I suppose when i think about it he has already explained that if he was overlapping them it was subconscious, and the reason he started the relationship was out of loneliness and the uke reminded him of the ex. So what more is there to say. It still felt unsatisfying at the end. Maybe i need to read it from the beginning again. Side note, that girl is the one that is disgusting. Pretty on the outside ugly on in inside.
Azusa is like a phoenix. All they are doing is powering him up. This story with the caste is showing a good representation of the dark side of the human tribe. It isnt until this chapter that i am starting to see the deeper message of this story:
''the more aggressive humans are, the more wounded complexes they carry'' (this is so true, and the opposite is true too)
''I only gave them a reason to act. Everyone had a stone in their hand to start, just waiting for a chance to finally throw it. They were all looking for a solid reason to hurt someone, no matter who. Truth is though, any reason is good enough''

Something has just come to me from the raws. I dont understand them, but it seems after Alex's partner (i resume) meets them in vol 4 Jin stops Alex having his way from then on. The look on his face was like 'my work here is done'. I could be totally wrong though, but maybe he feels obligated to stay with Alex and thats why he lets him have his way. So once his partner returns he can then focus on his relationship with Hamura.
Not that it makes anything ok, it makes my blood boil. Its cheating in my book, and so unfair on Hamura. I am not as forgiving as Hamura, i would have ended it (and i have). Once the trust is gone what is the point, its down hill from there. I admire the rare people who can truly move past it and strengthen their relationship.
Jin is being really selfish. Its very obvious who's feelings he cares about more. The full on kissing was bad enough, the nearly having sex was worse, but then Jin lets Alex carry him to the bath whilst he's naked and just had sex with Hamura. Then Jin lets him kiss his back where there are kiss marks from Hamura, possibly giving him his own kiss mark and Jin says i love you in english. I dont feel theres any excuse for any of that. I kind of want Jin to get a good taste of his own medicine, he would soon change his tune then.
I havent looked at the raws today though so maybe im remembering wrong. I dont want to be reminded lol The vague memory is enough to stir me up lol :)

When you think about it, Baba was at the school in a teachers meeting, so why did the lady teacher need to let herself into his home. She could have given him the medicine at the school. Baba was surprised she was there, so it wasnt an emergency and she just decided to do it on her own. She even invited Ryuuji to wait in the apartment, she couldnt have made herself anymore at home.
Stalker alert! Joking :P
What if Ryuugi was a secret assassin, and shes just invited him into her acquaintances home without his knowledge. The other thing is that the landlord wouldnt just let some random person into their tenants apartments. Also, the apartment disallowed pets, so shes just given Baba away. Who lets themselves in acquaintances homes anyway, especially without the knowledge of the owner.
Its like Baba expected Ryuuji to just get over the past as he decided he is now serious about him. I know Baba changed but i dont think he truly realises the wounds he caused. He was so thoughtless, no wonder Ryuuji didnt believe him.
I couldnt even understand why Ryuuji was blaming himself. He did the right thing walking away back then. Baba would still be making a fool of him if he hadnt, or their relationship would have ended even messier. In fact it is only because he left, and when he did, that Baba realised what he meant to him.
I feel like the Author is trying to convey a message and i have no clue what that message is, but im glad they worked things out and moved forward in the end. :)
He says in this page that he went abroad to win his ex's feelings because he already knew his ex didnt love him back. Well thats how i took it anyway. http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/eien_shika_hoshikunai/uu/mpn_chapter-2263676/pg-27/
and he says he didnt try and split them up but in the raws it looks like he did try unsuccessfully (i dont understand them).
The ex is insensitive and thoughtless more than anything, like it doesnt occur to him that the guys heart is shattered in pieces, but he obviously cares about him as a friend. Selfish really.
Still feel bad for the uke though. Still just as painful. He was fully invested in the relationship one sidedly and thats a shitty horrible feeling. Even in platonic relationships it hurts like hell.

There were a lot of selfish characters in these stories. I especially didn’t like the little brother of the first story. He knew that his big brother was still very much in love with his ex, and he knew that his brother has a negative and weak mindset. The older brother trusted him and poured his heart out to him, he pretty much said so. The younger brother went there with the intention of stealing the ex for himself, because he wasn’t satisfied in his own relationship. What if he hadn’t refused the advances? Imagine how broken the older brother would be if he found out about them being in a relationship. He’d do that to his own brother! The older brother is still clueless about what a snake he is. I know its through his actions that they ended up back together, but thats the least he could do after intentionally setting out to betray his brother. He could have found comfort from anyone, but he chose to pursue the man his brother loves!

That cousin repeatedly molested Kaede. If he was trying to help he would have talked to Ren about mistreating his partner, but instead he chose what he chose, and it was all forgotten. For example if it was say his Dad led there in the same position, would he have taken that option to 'help' because no one was around... repeatedly... i think not.
I think some he was needed to forward the plot. Since the yaoi isn't that long. The author probably had to speed up some parts of it so she put in the cousin to spice it up. I think he should of gotten some kind of punishment...
