Previously when Cale and Taylor met in the rock city where Cale found the vitality of the heart, Cale then sent a message to Taylor to move him to the capital (so he doesn't get the vitality of the heart) with a message that the crown prince has a useless power that would help Taylor.
With the Stan family (Taylor's family) tradition that the most fit and able person would take over, Taylor had been ousted since he lost the mobility of his legs. The Stan family originally supported the Third prince, which is detrimental to the Crown Prince if he were to engage in a battle of the throne. (I think becuase they're as wealthy as the Henituse family.)
So by doing Taylor Stan (the now "black sheep" of the Stan family) a favour (ie striking a deal) the Crown Prince will have the support of Taylor Stan as well as his family if he were to take over from his terrible brother, Venion. (Also just Black Dragon and his revenge, he remembers it and whispers his plans to Cale every night so. Await the day when it appears.)
