They were up watching a basketball/volleyball game (forgot which sport) and the uke saw this guy(seme) waving up at him but later found out that it was actually to the senpai who was showing him around. That was when uke fell in love with seme. Later in the story, seme and uke got involved and uke found out that seme was actually in love with that senpai and uke felt heartbroken. Seme felt conflicted and soon confess to that senpai that he “used” to like the senpai and the senpai told him that it must’ve been past tense as seme used a past tense work and seme found that he came to actually love uke

It was when they where to the villa. From that point he kept remembering things.

You see him open the box that was packed from the villa and pick up the diary
And in chapter 67 we see the moment his memory came back in a kinda flashback as it shows him reading THAT page of the diary
Rereading it from chapter 41 with this in mind completely changed the tone for me and my heart hurt all over again
