This story is so good when you don’t have a b**ch in your ear complaining that it’s not a carbon copy of the novel.
When you look at the story WITHOUT comparing it her reasons for going back is still sad, it’s less about her mental state cos of the abuse she got in just in the final arc but her mental state from the story as a whole. Like you want her to look beat up okay… why cos icl they still give a very good reason for why she wants to go back. Let’s start acc reading the story in front of you rather than compare it to its novel. If you want the novel it’s right there go read it
