Does anyone know if this is like, the sequel. Cause it says "Hey, Kageyama! 2" not 1. If there is, then thank the lords for another holy book has descended.

Can I just say, Nii is a big fucking asshole. Maybe later on in the series he gets some character development/justification that'll make him at least a little bareable, but rn he's just an ass.
Yes, I can get behind the fact that he maybe just doesn't see Ririko as anything more than a little sister, but still, he could at least be a little more considerate towards her.
As for the second male lead, he's just meh.

How dare this only get 9.7 stars, that is definitely a war crime. To the people who gave it a 1 star, shame on you.

Ik it's irrelevant to the story, but is nakamura 16 or 17?

    He’s 16!

    He’s 16! Tiramisu

Ok cool, cause in "Ganbare nakamura-kun" it said he was 17

Does anyone know any stories that are similar to this one? Or just recommend me some good shounen-ai manga in general...
Thanks (=・ω・=)

Should I read it?
Is it a character driven story, or maybe a drama driven story or....?

It’s all of that. It has a normal plot you’d expect anywhere from a sports manga. However, it’s the execution that makes this manga different from the others. It has a lot of character development from ALL characters, not only the main character. In fact, the main character has the SLOWEST development of them all but it’s building up to his grand moment. If you want a super genius amazing confident main character, then this manga isn’t for you.

There’s not a lot of drama. It’s more about the internal complexities these kids face as they continue to push forward with their soccer careers. Of course, the matches are excellent and are very realistic. There aren’t any special supernatural powers of anything of that sort. It’s a down to earth soccer manga. If I had to compare this manga to another sports manga, it’s more similar to Haikyuu than Kuroko no Basket.

I see, thanks on your insight. It seems like something I might be interested in, I'll check it out some time in the future.
