honestly this story is pretty meh. it was super interesting in the beginning but i feel like the author didn't really go anywhere with it. the first and second seasons feel like completely different stories. the first season is he's been hallucinating his dead best friend for years and is viciously bullied because of it and then the second season is like oh yeah none of that even mattered in the end have a generic love triangle instead. it just feels incredibly cheap and contrived the more i think about it.
i know people can write whatever story they want but i just feel like it would've been so much more powerful if Sihoo had actually been dead and there was more time spent on developing the main couple. the fact that his only friend for most of his life has been a fucking hallucination and how he navigates having a real relationship after that is a way more interesting story to me than just two guys fighting over him tbh.

I used to really like this manga, it was one of the first yaoi i ever read but now that i'm an adult reading it again, i seriously cannot stand these two. kengo's a condescending asshole and hidetoshi is also a pretty toxic person with the way he always runs to kengo whenever he needs a shoulder to cry on but still acts coldly towards him. kengo's the fucking worst though. abusive people don't beat their partners because they have the wrong tone of voice or they caused a misunderstanding, they do it because it gives them power and control over the other person. you can spend every second walking on eggshells and trying to do everything right and they'll still find an excuse to lash out because they've learned that they can use violence to get their way.

i never planned on reading this because i usually hate stories about pets who turn into sexy humans. but i saw a screenshot and liked the art so decided to give it a try but let me tell you i was not expecting this to be one of the most beautiful and well-written yaoi mangas i've ever read and possibly the best werewolf story i've ever read either (and i've read a lot). i seriously love everything about this story, from the humor to the action and the gorgeous and sensual sex scenes. definitely one of the best yaois i've ever read.

i lowkey ship Mina and the secretary. i think they'd be perfect for each other. the secretary is super emotionally intelligent so she'd make up for mina's lack of empathy, but seems to prefer someone who isn't overly emotional so wouldn't be bothered that she's more detached. idk they just make my lesbian heart race ╮(￣▽￣)╭
