The Tyrant Wants To Live Honestly
wth. MC is surrounded by idiots who push their own narratives on her. and i don't even think she learned anything, she's just feeling residual guilt and anger so she's running away from things.
usually when you make these type of neglected and unloved in the past type of plots, it gradually gives you an equal amount of satisfaction to see these events turned upside down in the 2nd timeline.
however, this story is incredibly inadequate in providing that. eg the frustration you feel is about a 100 and then it gives the reader about 20% in karmic retribution or moments of realization when a good and well-phased plot would've given you twice the amount of satisfaction to make up the frustrating premise.
just overall bad vibes and unrewarding storyline all around. and judging from the extensive spoilers from diff. forums, this doesn't improve over time and it maintains this level of small, lukewarm 'good' moments overshadowed by dissatisfaction throughout the end.
should've known when i saw the author's previous work lol. they're an expert on MCs who have zero self worth.

I Refuse to Be Executed a Second Time
lol ok this is dumb af.
everyone is so annoying. prince sucks, this mofo ain't doing shit. FL is a pushover and is often framed as this wise leader when her actions are just so... so fucking careless. main villain acts like she's scheming something brilliant but makes a plot that any 3 year old can foil. this doesn't even incite rage, because that would imply the plot had enough substance to incite intense emotions- no, this is the blandest series i've ever beheld.
wholeheartedly agree with a comment on here that the author has no ability to make any smart characters because they don't have the capacity themselves to BE smart.
Oh, Dear Nemesis
interesting. gonna have to dodge spoilers to let the suspense build up, but already 100% betting ponytail dude poisoned her smh
