Well the novel is not translated, i read it in chinese by converting it into English by google translate. So i don't think i can help.
Other than slut shaming him numerous times, cheating on him, he once destroyed the object our MC made in order to confess his love to him knowing that he can't speak, he also was an indirect reason why mc mother died. Oh, if that was not enough he was the reason our MC died, literally, before he thought of the incredible plan to resurrect our MC.

I couldn't understand clearly what it was because of Google translate but ML ask MC either the location of some place or treasure and told him to either tell him or drink poison. ML thought this type of persuasion will work with MC, but MC drank poison so ML was horrified when MC choose to die rather than stay by his side. MC at the point had lost his mom so he decided to end himself saying that his heart and his will to live died when his mom died.
