Bad guy is Maleficent, the male Egyptian version: he was only bad because someone screwed him over behind the scenes. Hawk guy is the princess Aurora equivalent

I don’t think there’s a brief summary about this but......So like... Seth (red-hair) has been an evil tyrant since he stole the throne from his brother Osiris, who “died“ since Seth “killed“ him.

Osiris is not really dead since he’s the God of Life, he was just chopped up by Seth and was thrown into the duat/underworld and became the God there.

Back to Seth. He is like the powerful god who no one could beat. Seth then meets Horus who challenges him for the throne and who was also backed up by other gods. They hold 3 matches and whoever gets two wins obviously becomes the ruler of Egypt.

The match is basically prolonged to 70 chapters with dramas in between and flashbacks.

Here’s the relationship connections: the characters down below are like the center focus so I’ll only be talking about em.

Isis loved Osiris but Osiris loved Seth but Seth loved Nepthys but Nepthys loved Osiris.

Anubis is the son of Nepthys and Seth but it turns out that Osiris gave his seed to Nepthys because Nepthys made a deal with Osiris and the deal being related to Seth.

Let’s not forget about Horus. Horus is the son of Isis and Osiris. Osiris “came back to life” and they papapa so Horus is born.

And you know how Seth stole the throne, he basically tries to find Isis, wife of Osiris, and searched for her for hundreds of years, killing any women who resemble her.

Horus and Osiris likes Seth. Lol, like father like son..... okay they have different reasons so it doesn’t count.

the fact it was just kind of brushed off as like, brother rivalry in the sense of not feeling loved or needed.

like- you don't fuck someone imaging they are your dad just because you feel that way? that's such a major plot hole and weird thing to add in general that it ruined the whole thing for me (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

yeah lmao they just chose not to get more into that plotline and part of me is glad they didn't (⊙…⊙ )
but at the same time i wonder if it really happened or if it was just a fever dream i had reading this
