I actually appreciate the things the story tried to show:
A ML regressor
A male victim of trauma
Falling for a catalyst in trauma
Trying to cope while not losing it over a smidge of a flame
Compared to most incel seinen k-smutty manhwa, he is at least trying to get over his past wounds on his own. I don't blame him for doing it on her father's grave to establish dominance cuz he was one of the people who burned his mother to ashes.
As far as revenge goes, taking your enemy's precious daughter on his grave, it doesn't get any proper of a revenge than this.
The reason why the comments are calling him trashy is because they are considering the FL the MC but imagine the roles reversed: if the FL started started being a smutty bitch to the man that killed her mother in flames at every chance she got out of spite and vengeance, no one would've called her out for being a bitch.

Agreed! They should all shush, we know he'll come around to forgiving the younger her, and they'll be happily in love later, it's how these stories go. We get to watch the healing! Granted, trauma is never healable, just becomes manageable and easier to live with, so this will be interesting to see the author make happen.

I haven't read this one, but saw the spoilers. If the manhua/manwha/manga/webtoon/whatever doesn't make me want to know what happens next like in that next moment and go, "Ok, let's go read the novel!!" I tend to just wait for the next chapter or look up the spoilers some to see if I keep reading the spoilage or hunt down the novel from what I read.
This was one I'd rather watch it unfold, but I couldn't get much information other than she learns about his plans, but when he learns she hadn't meant for his mother to be caught and burned, he regrets how he treated her. I think by that time it was too late for him to be forgiven, and he pretends to have amnesia.
There were a few other things, but the giver of that information wasn't very good with English, so I'm not sure if they meant the mother or MC when they said "Princess was pregnant" something about her running to another country [which is why I'm leaning more towards the Empress (the mother)] and that she had done something to his, the ML's memory. Again, not sure since this was really broken English that made less sense.
Either way, we know with this kind of troupe, it will end with the two together. They'll forgive each other and love each other in the end. It's just a drama mess of a road to get there.
I'm not saying this is ideal behaviour but it could've been so much worse (like his Fe not working- he would've never paid attention to the girl's feelings at all and she would've been treated like the slaves in this story)
