She's still a child. I think we can all agree that an adult has the responsability to make sure a child is not abused or manipulated by anyone. IMO the emperor does a good job as a parent for the moment.
he's literally her dad and had no memory of her nor did he know she existed as soon as he found out about her he took her in and it's obvious he cares for her so it kind of is his place to question things he doesn't know about regarding his daughter
