I think that ceres belongs to the royal family and that’s why they wanted to visit him. In the latest chapter when they were strolling through the garden, his eye color didn’t seem black anymore but shone in different colors- which is a trait the royal family has. And the hairdresser said that his hair must’ve been colored, I guess to hide the multiple colored hair the royal family has as well. And his brother who’s the current crown price, tries to sabotage everything so that he doesn’t come back to society and pose a threat to his position. Also, maybe the emperors mistress with the strong divine powers managed to conceal ceres real identity. And maybe he is the child of the late empress who died or the current empress whos not favored by the king. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

She’s supposed to be the smart one but how come she’s so clueless and oblivious to everything that’s happening around her? And how could she not at least question something? She’s taking everything at face value then is surprised that people have bad intentions towards her. Like duh, you’re not welcome in their male dominated circles.
I don’t know what’s going on, but she took in the role of the delegation and she never ever ever ever could stand up for herself. This is really annoying I thought there will be some character development:/ but mist of the time she’s like a dear caught in the headlights
Honestly I didn’t know that there’s such a huge age gap between them two. Couldn’t she have been a little more grown? I mean, she just turned 18 and he’s already 27…they could’ve at least made her 20
And I feel like the mother Miralia is a really good villain/character. She also schemed to get where she’s now. Like mother like daughter.
But in reality the age gap is not "that" big. Even if we're talking in the real world. It's 9 years. Maybe the only icky part is that she's young and that all of the marriage parts started when she was young. But if we think it like if she was 20-22 and he was 29-31 it would be better looking on paper or saying it out loud, but it's still kinda the same. The age gap won't go away even when she'll turn 30.
It’s a period piece, so the age gap isn’t that surprising. That said, the ick of an 18 year old marrying a 27 year old is more a maturity thing since they are both adults and, in this case, Tia has already lived more than her 18 years so she’s only an 18 year old in body and not in mind.
Yeah, it really wouldn't have changed the story at all to have her be a bit older. Even if there's in-story reasons for the age gap to exist it doesn't change the fact that the author chose to write it like that in the first place.
