She gets fired—I believe for speaking out of line—and moves. Claude finds out and basically has a breakdown. He cuts his hair. She’d been getting him through it, so without her there he doesn’t see any point in remaining. He stops taking the drug and presents as male. He eventually finds her and she FREAKS out. Super embarrassed, super emotional, cries. Things get sorted out and they eventually hug and accept it. He stays to eat and someone comes to the door. She covers his mouth so she doesn’t get caught with a strange man in the house. Claude notices the guy at the door has flowers behind his back and is blushing. He is not pleased. The guy eventually leaves and drops the flowers on his way out, surprising FL.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. They explained it already in the story. He’s been taking puberty blockers. His father said his wife would kill Claude if she found out he was male. He took puberty blockers so he could pretend to be female and the step-mother wouldn’t come after him.

Technically he didn’t even kill the mom, she kind of committed suicide trying to kill him off ?-? So not even two .-.
