Does anyone know if they confirm season 4 of the anime?
I’ve read a bit on Reddit and an article, and it doesn’t look like it’s been renewed for a 4th season. But I’m holding out hope ‘cause I love this series so much! :]

I think they meant the end of......SEASON 1 cuz that can’t be the end. I have so much on answered questions and it’s such a good story to be the end.

We don't know yet. Something terrible probably happened in the black room when they were kids. They were traumatized and they have hallucinations. I don't think it's real since nobody else see them

So it took me a while to understand what’s going on.... so I’ll Claire up some of the misunderstanding that’s been going on..
1.TAEHO does like eunwoo The only reason why he doesn’t make it clear is because if he does Eunwoo is gonna turn into pearls and for some of y’all that’s saying that he’s only with him for the money in a chapter TAEHO said that he won’t become like the lady that’s taking care of him.
2. I don’t know if this was clear to some of you but I will make it clear Eunwoo is the reincarnation of the original mermaid that’s why he’s been having flashback of memories that aren’t his.
3.The blonde is the reincarnation of this scholar or should I say his body got taken over by the scholar because he Somewhat sympathize with the scholar after seeing Eunwoo and TAEHO Together.
LASTLY I am pretty sure that the blonde kid hit him with the car for revenge.

I disagree with you about the reincarnation part. Remember how Eunwoo was warned that he'd lose his soul after going into the ocean? He became like that after going into the ocean to save the blonde kid. Also, it has been heavily implied that the blonde kid has been possessed (everytime a new volume of the mermaid book comes out, the "author" states that they don't remember anything as if they were possessed by a ghost). This was all triggered by Eunwoo going into the ocean. So basically Eunwoo got some of the previous memories of the original mermaid as well as the mermaid traits (not sure when or how these memories and traits can be unlocked again, probably only when he's in contact with the ocean), and he brought back the spirit of the scholar by going into the ocean.
But it appears the blonde kid got possessed by the spirit of the shaman. So the kid should now get a pass, IMO.
