The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess
Sweet girl who was abused by her family taken in by a very boisterous new one. She has dark magic that looks really interesting but isn't explored much.
I finished it in a few days. Honestly the romance was quite boring... I kept waiting for romance and it was just more plot from the abusive family. I don't understand why the duke was so conflicted if she knew the empress was trying to ruin the Arabella ceremony she could have insisted on waiting inside herself. Nobody would know and that kind priest obviously wouldn't have cared. There's a lot of plot holes honestly... It was cute occasionally. Very creepy regularly.
I Have No Health
Sickly FL is so cute! I like the germaphobe too
The ending was very sweet, I enjoyed this!
The Goal is to Become a Gold Spoon so I need to be Completely Invulnerable
I'm really disappointed in her brother, he basically never did anything for her. Like yeah her great escape was smoother because of his actions but he was the one who was squishing her and putting her under house arrest just before that so let's not forget she could have left way more comfortably if he'd been useful from the bloody start.
I Became the Tyrant’s Servant
I read the novel and forced myself to go up to ch 20 of the 150 currently available. Personally I find it boring, the constant threats on her life are boring and so is all the grovelling to the Emperor. I'm sick of reading her nonsense. I know it's supposed to be like that but she's spewing it so often that I'm sick of it. Additionally I don't like that she hasn't noticed the differences in the novel version and the real version of the emperor, she's smart, she should have figured out he's just acting by now. Additionally she should have questioned why he's suddenly not killing people or acting like a tyrant since she's appeared. I don't know the full extent of the contract but I know the original Duke was holding the emperor's mother hostage and using him as a puppet, she probably got killed in the original because he retrieved Eleanor. I'm also sick of reading that the duke fainted from too much alcohol after the emperor forced her to drink. It's shitty and it's dumb. Besides that I read a spoiler about the ending that totally ruined the whole book for me: she's the duke, she genuinely lost her memories... Enjoy
Your Dream Is Delicious
It was very cute, I enjoyed their arguments too because it gave tension without feeling unbearable. I found it amusing how the biggest obstacles got sorted out so easily (a YouTuber I watch would consider them "barely an inconvenience"). His mom... Harmless in front of Joel. Joel's looming health... Sorted out faster than I could take a nap. Hilarious. I'm a bit disappointed that the wizard boy got treated like a villain the entire time when except for giving Mara basically an aphrodisiac, he didn't really do anything. And then he never got to meet his mom either. Maybe it'll be a side story or something. Or a separate book. I don't like him enough to read that though.
