Pls try to understand it from Miria sake. She is one of the fingers of the judge, an alien god, a super race who live long and do not have children. They don’t understand what children are and need. Miria first time having child and she try very best. Not once, she think about grief when dealing with Mori, something that us human has developed skills and methods to deal with. She is also someone who calm most of the time, who seem to alway control her emotions, and always try to follow what is technically her father. Her confliting nature is her arc, which she must overcome
Oh no noo I don't have anything against Miria, it's just the perfect scene showing Miria's hesitation, and then Mori calling for her and ending up like that, and the chapter ending right at that moment-- as you've said, next part will probably on how she'll overcome her conflicting nature. I think the author did well, cause I felt Miria's conflicted emotions as well (as a reader), hence, the frustration. That's all~

Why do i feel like the blonde guy has feelings for ho-in in the past for a long time, and just chose to give up and remain a loyal friend cause ho-in is straight (like that friend from Love Me, Doctor)
Also gosh, I feel sorry for Taesoo, tho we still don't know his reasons, and I can't completely ship sunbae x ho-in, tho their seggs are very passionate, seems like that's the only thing going on between them.
But i'll believe in the cover lol, plus the seggs scene are long and steamy compared to Taesoo's, i mean why would author-nim put so much effort in that only to break them apart right? That's cruel lol

I feel like they genuinely like eachother but redhead has some issues like sum internalised homophobia and ain't ready to come out of his lil crusty closet and he didn't want to cross the line with his friend (black hair dude) but ended up crossing it explaining why he's always running away and coming back to the black haired dude
