This is such a smart plot.
The whole story revolves around their everyday life but bit by bit their insecurities and difficulties are revealed without being over-dramatic since they tend to read each other's mood so well. I also love how the art reflects their flowery lovey dovey self when together versus when they get mad e.g. Maki's demon face fanning away Luca from Hana (I died reading that panel in chp.1 lol) and also Hana's very serious and determined face when meeting his grandfather. It's a wholesome manga meaning, even though it's all lovey dovey and food (the food is the real MVP lol), it's still very realistic... and pyon. It's tempting to get a pet rabbit lol. Anyhow, the author did so well in setting up this story <3
wow this is a very good spin on omegaverse. The way the author tackles issues it almost makes you feel this is nonfiction... a non-existent omegaverse because the issues are so relatable in the real world and that's probably why it left me happy, sad and uncertain at the same time, reflecting on the future both in the story and in real life. Good job!
I think some people are missing the point of this story:
A once meaningless life found meaning upon meeting the right person.
That is, Aya, has found meaning and peace even in the mundane of just watching Nazu study.
Also, it wasn't explored but from the hints here and there, it's clear something is going on with Aya's background that made him the way he is/was... I mean, we've never seen him work yet he has such a nice apartment plus his mother has all sorts of question signs...
This of course doesn't justify Aya's action against Nazu at the start of the story (even though he was drugged) but it's something to think about... his character has really changed from fucking Nazu in an alley to taking him back to a bed because he felt sick after to waiting until exams are over to abstaining from sex out of concern for Nazu's health to going exclusive and admitting he'd never been in a relationship before and begging Nazu, his now declared boyfriend to stay over and keep his company.
It might be just me but I miss the old art style. Art-wise the characters might've looked rough but it made the characters more expressive and gave a textured life to the story. It was unique.
I was thinking the art style changed! I felt Takano was previously more defined & now he looks more akin to his teenager body.
Yes, this exactly. Even as I read the latest chapter I was thinking this ><
