I’m sad that they aren’t doing the side stories ╥﹏╥. I wanted to see their three kids. I wanted to see when they find out Zay is pregnant. Also, I wanted them to address the mark on Aseph. Like Zay waking up and touching his mark as he is sleeping and blushing or vice versa. Aseph kissing her mark as she sleeps because it’s their mark, or her touching his mark and saying I told you you were my partner, SOMETHING. I guess this will only be in my imagination

I can’t stop thinking how they were meant to be. Lucia may think she messed with destiny and got in the way of Hue and that girl but she didn’t. She saved Hue and Damian. She saved Hue by giving him a happy family, giving him a daughter and giving Damian motherly love and not only that he gets to live for a long time. When I read the chapter that talked about how Damian died at 18, I think, and not knowing love broke my heart. Lucia really saved them and gave them a very happy life. I wish there was more to this where we get to see Damian get married with that girl that dressed up as a boy at the academy, and I think she might have eaten mugwort to stop her period giving them a chance to have a daughter, and see Lucias and Hue daughter and who she ends up with. I have read the novel like 30 times. OMG I can’t wait for this to be completed!

Scenario 1: LJ planning out how to save him.
LJ: Aseph is in danger what do I do to save him. I have to go save him.
Sister: no sister you will be killed
Father: we will think of something.

30 minutes pass by
We figured it out, let’s go save him. This plan will work its well thought out!!!

Aseph:...................(dead)

Scenario 2: heads out like normal
LJ: demon stop
Demon:......
LJ: give me a moment, I was trying to figure out where Aseph was so I couldn’t think of a plan. I just wanted to make sure I arrived on time to save him but Can you pause and give me a minute to think of a plan. And then we will do this all over, just don’t hurt him for now we will resume after I thought of something.

Scenario 2b: thought of a plan along the way
Lj: stop
Demon:.......... why do you have a stick
Lj: well my plan was to distract you so Aseph can get up and get a chance to hit you on your weak spot but I didn’t have a weapon in case you came towards me so I grabbed what was near by since time was running out this is all I could think of............
same ending

Scenario 3: weapon
Lj: arrive with sword. “Stop”
Demon:........
Lj: .....
Demon: runs fast towards her she couldn’t even swing her sword. Crest gone. Lj dead. Or same ending

Maybe throws sword to Aseph.
Sword-> demon-> Aseph, how can I get to Aseph when demon is next to him he will kill me instantly, it’s a suicide mission if I try to get close to Aspen. She throws him the sword. It didn’t even land 1ft away from her.
Demon:.................... attacks LJ. Same ending

idk what people think LJ would do with a weapon. Aseph is good with a weapon and has POWERS but is half dead right now, his sword is broken because guess who broke it, the demon. People in the comment section are criticizing Lj by her actions and don’t even think about the scenario they are in. Are you sure you should be criticizing her when what your saying doesn’t even make sense. Because those that say why didn’t you get a weapon, okay then what? Did you think about who they are dealing with, did you think about what he is capable, did you forget that Aseph is strong and is half dead but you are expecting a weak girl to have a chance. There is NOTHING LJ could have done to protect herself or Aseph. Lj should have come up with a plan, you do realize that time is running out, I can’t even think of a good plan to defeat the demon right now and you expect her to come up with something while trying to get to Aseph and hoping he isn’t dead. if Aseph is in danger there is nothing you can come up with to defeat him. He was the one I thought would defeat him with his powers and all but he is half dead. Maybe if the prince and Aseph fight at the same time then there might be a chance. If the goddess steps in maybe there is a chance. If Aseph heals his wounds and fights him again there is a chance. But don’t expect LJ to do anything but distract the demon because that’s all she can do. Who knows maybe her crest can do something since it healed Aseph before.

Not 100% accurate, I used a translating app. So Aseph is learning Korean and happens to see Zays diary open. He makes out some words and sees who started the fire or who is the killer from the fire something like that. So he asks Zay what her dreams are about and if they have to do with the fire her dad started. So she tells him that she dreams about him when he was 5 years told, and 10 years old. So Aseph realizes that she knows everything about him. That she knows his ugly side and that when they first met she already knew about him that’s why she knew his name. So he breaks down crying thinking that Zay probably thinks he is disgusting and a monster and that maybe she isn’t with him because she loves him, not too sure about that translation. But Zay said that she always wanted to be with him, that she always missed him and wanted to touch him. That she will never leave even if he pushes her away and that she loves him. Then they kiss. That’s the last chapter they have.


I just can’t wait for him to find out that she always died for him.

So, the kid is his real son? I thought he found him and took him home. The sister said, “You laid with a peasant and had a child”. I’m confused.

So I read through a spoiler forum and found out that Aseph and zay have two sons and a daughter. in the forum that I will link to, page 12 has a spoiler cover page For the last book, it’s shows their kids, if you scroll towards the end of the page you will find it. I just thought I’d share it.

This is my #1 favorite read at the moment. I haven’t felt like this since after finishing light & shadow, not that they are comparable, since they each have a different feel to it, this is only being compared as to how excited they made me feel while reading them. As in Always waiting for an update, always eager to read the next chapter and not being able to stop thinking about it when you are done reading them. And now that everything is coming together and we finally get some questions answered the wait is killing me! I need raws! ╥﹏╥

This is a really good read! I usually don’t read these types mangas but I just kept seeing it on a YouTube ad and finally gave it a chance. I honestly don’t regret that decision. Now I am thinking of reading mangas that are similar to this. Does anyone have any recommendations?
