Honestly I agree with people who say it is weird seeing the art change as the whole vibe of the story has indeed changed from S1. Most of us had felt like the art became like a generic fantasy action medieval story and I am indeed very disheartened about the separation of the previous artists from the story. But the new style was extremely noticeable even after a while of not reading & forgetting about the notice of the departure. The art style truly made me forget who was who for a few seconds while reading the side stories but I got there.
Though many will disagree with me about what I have just said but that doesn’t mean I hate it completely. I’m just happy with a hint of displeasure that “The Beginning After the End” is finally continuing after a long hiatus and am looking forward for the future. I am also happy I was able to read S1 with the same art style. Not many others had the fortune of finishing their 1st season before the art change so I’m glad we had a completed season. Though I would’ve loved seeing the same art style till the end of the story like “Suddenly Became a Princess One Day” which was fantastic to read of each panel. But in truth we all still came back to read right?
Like I am still a fan of the story even if the art has changed. I’ve seen it before in many other different stories and I have sticked with a few, as I continue reading them I began to truly enjoy the story rather the art style. Yet it was the beginning that made us interested towards the story & characters. That said I hope that many of you who are throughly disinterested about the art change and do not read it anymore I understand. But please don’t ruin it for newcomers who may be scouting for a good read.
