While Momo's relationship with Kanoko chan is really something that the readers love. I believe Ai Dana Koi Dano is centered towards Tsubaki and Naedoko's relationship with each other. We really don't get what's goin on in Tsubaki's mind til Ai Dano Koi Dano. And the extremities of his adoration towards Kanoko-chan which is really funny and cute sometimes.

I know! And I ship them so hard, I want them to be together so much :'( But if it doesn't happen (i'll cry) I'll still feel happy as long as Momo and Kanoko are friends...you know?

So far Yacchan doesn't like Toono or Kashima (or so he says I think he’s in denial with Kashima). And I think Tamura (I think that's his name) is interested in Yacchan.

And yeah...a lot of mangas give this awful advice, shoujo and yaoi, sadly. A lot of young people read this and probably take it to heart...so I just had to leave this comment.

I'm hoping the kid's bandmate is playing devil's advocate/being a dick on purpose to help push their relationship along... 'cause that was such terrible advice..

I mean I get what you're saying, and it is quite possible, but it still is a shitty thing to say. So I don't know how to feel about it :/

Oh yeah, it definitely rubs me the wrong way too. And it's just so unnecessary. Even if they want to add drama to the story, it doesn't have to be this way..

I read this manga, expecting something nice and soft...cute, so I was definitely not expecting this. When you're reading something fucked up, you already know it's bad so you do roll your eyes at it but you knew what you were getting into. This...well...I'll probably keep reading it to see what happens or maybe I won't, depends on how I feel about it in the future :/

Yes I'm not trying to take away their intelligence, I do think they are smart BUT if you see something repeatedly and you have no one else to turn to, to tell you that it's not like that you start to believe it. And let's face it...there are girls that are like 12 and read this...I just don't want them to have the wrong idea and suffer because of a manga's bad advice. And sadly there's plenty of guys in real life that'll make you believe it too, so I just wanted to give my own advice in hope I'd help someone :)

Amen! Same goes for terrible tropes used in shoujo (like that idea that it's attractive for guys to be assholes and that all girls have to be ~feminine~ and stuff ugh. Don't even get me started on the whole "I raped you because I love you" thing). It really gives a bad idea of what relationships are/should be like. I end up worrying too much about impressionable readers to enjoy stories like that anymore. #－.－)

There are a lot of bad tropes in manga (shoujo and yaoi), as you have specified. But the rape one is the more dominant one and the worse one...and it really irks me to no end...can't they make a good story without rape? I do worry more about these things than i did in the past, and I guess sometimes it takes me away from the stories. Still I do read them, even if it has bad tropes...I'm a bad person hahaha
