y’all I’m just gonna say ... y’all are trying to figure out j’s gender when that’s not the point of this story at all. it’s not about what j’s gender is. the story is set in a completely different time period where actually transitioning was uncommon. J’s struggle with his gender identity is more important than y’all trying to fight each other over what the author purposely didn’t acknowledge. I’m just saying if J’s character was meant to be set in stone transgender, the author would’ve made it very very clear. She ain’t stupid y’all, stop fight y’all are boring.
