This story is surprisingly bad. Like really bad.

Yuji is a person with Anthrophobia. A fear of other people. PEOPLE, NOT GERMS just to be clear.

It shows early on that Leo (Yuji's best friend) has feelings for Yuji and has been protecting him for years after a certain "incident". Leo is Yuji's support, his only support right now.

It's stated that Yuji and Reiji do not live with their parents. They only live together. Twins, and more importantly, SIBLINGS who know practically NOTHING about each other.

You can tell with Reiji's and Yuji's interactions. Yuji never knew where Reiji worked and how he felt growing up. Reiji never knew about how Yuji was feeling during the incident and when growing up as well. They were distant since childhood and no one, not even their parent's tried sorting it out.

In fact, even their parents are ignorant.

It states that Yuji and Reiji's parents only ever paid attention to Yuji more, because of how well he did in school and because of what happened. COMPLETELY ignoring Reiji. Like they didn't care because they knew he was a failure.

Reiji even admitted himself that he was a failure compared to Yuji. And growing up without his parent's acknowledging his feelings, just helped his inferiority complex more as he grew up. He thinks of Yuji as "Diligent and smart" he even says that he doesn't actually hate his brother, but was only jealous of him for getting all the attention by their FAMILY.

So he purposely LEFT Yuji out in school. And out of his life. To probably make him feel what he felt.

But Reiji also says that as they grew up, "we started to understand each other less and less" and "I couldn't understand him at all"

I think Reiji was genuinely concerned for his brother when the incident happened. You may not agree with me, but think about it.

Yuji closed himself off from everyone because of the incident. And Leo and their parents "only cared about him" is what Reiji said. "it didn't feel fair at all"

I think Reiji was seriously worried for his twin despite feeling jealous of him. He wanted to know how he felt and what happened, but wasn't paid attention to. He wanted to understand his brother, but never could because Yuji shut himself out of everything and everyone because of what happened.
Then as they grew up, it was the same thing.

I also think Reiji still (semi) cares for Yuji because of what he said before, “Don’t do that anything like that again” and “Who knows what they could’ve done to you!” when Yuji was confronted by his brother about interfering with his work.

Yuji cut himself off from everyone and Reiji never dared to do anything about it. Making them never actually understand each other.


But it doesn’t change the fact that Reiji’s inferiority complex has gone way too far. Reiji’s entire character is if a Sociopath and Psychopath had a baby. He’s taken it too far for too long. AND NOT ONCE THOUGHT ABOUT TALKING IT OVER WITH HIS BROTHER? OR PARENTS? NEVER SOUGHT HELP?

Reiji sees himself as a "failure" that's only good for his "body" since he know's he's good at pleasing people with it.

And it also shows that Reiji is a dick to his brother. Telling him to, "Just get over it already" (His anthrophobia). And that he shouldn't, "Bother Leo anymore" with this problem.

But, I think, because Yuji is genuinely a nice person, and is portrayed as a "doormat" or a bit of a "Gullible person" he doesn't realize his brother being extremely rude to him.

He only ever thinks about how much cooler he is, or how much people like him more. He even says, "Though we are twins, we're nothing alike", maybe portraying how much he would like to be like his brother, Reiji.

But it also seemed like his parents didn't help much with curing his anthrophobia. After Yuji was literally cut in the back, they did what?? Took him to the hospital and made him transfer schools? Never spoke about it to the school? Didn't provide mental help for the possibility of being diagnosed with anthrophobia?

LIKE WHAT KIND OF PARENTS DO THESE DAMN TWINS HAVE??

It's like they just ignored it completely. Probably thinking about their image and how people would think of them.

or thinking "if he's okay physically that's enough". Did they not bother about his mental trauma??

This family is total garbage.

LEO IS NOT A GOOD CHARACTER EITHER!!

Hear me out. Leo has had feelings for Yuji since they first met, hiding his feelings because he was afraid of possibly ruining their friendship, and getting rejected.

And that's an understandable thing to think about.

But fucking someone else to let out his frustrations is okay? ESPECIALLY his TWIN BROTHER? EXCUSE ME????

Then when Reiji said that him and Leo were DATING in front of Yuji, LEO DID NOTHING???

He knew they WERENT dating and just, didn't say shit??

HE LOVES YUJI, SO WHY DID HE NOT SAY ANYTHING WHEN REIJI JUST TOLD YUJI A BIG ASS LIE??

That was a dick move from Reiji. He KNEW about Leo's crush and KNEW that Yuji had feelings for Leo as well.

And when the twins AND Leo were all sitting together, Yuji says “Leo, I’d like it if you’d always be my friend” that was when Yuji thought he should give up on Leo because he thought Reiji and Leo were going out. AND BELIEVED IT MORE BECAUSE WHEN HE SAID, “I didn’t know you two were seeing each other” IN FRONT OF LEO’S FACE, LEO DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING TO DENY IT.

Yeah Reiji and Leo were fucking, but the dude can clearly see Yuji was uncomfortable with that and said NOTHING?

AND THEN GETS MAD AT YUJI ???

AND AFTER YUJI LEAVES, LEO CONFRONTS REIJI ABOUT WHAT HE SAID TO YUJI AND GETS MAD AT REIJI AS WELL?? LIKE HE’S ALSO NOT AT FAULT? LIKE HE LITERALLY SAID NOTHING TO CLEAR THE AIR WHEN REIJI LIED TO YUJI’S FACE ABOUT DATING HIS BROTHER??

Then get’s mad at Yuji AGAIN for being FORCED to have sex with him by REIJI. And then IGNORES HIM.

Didn’t Leo say he could tell them apart?

Yuji was moaning and calling out Leo’s name, literally SCREAMING IT. And Leo was like, “oh it’s Reiji”

LIKE OMG YOU LITERALLY KEPT SAYING HOW DIFFERENT YUJI AND REIJI WERE AND COULDN’T EVEN TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN BED?

Does that mean, if Leo and Reiji only had a physical relationship that would “be enough” since Reiji already looks the part? and apparently SOUNDS LIKE HIM TOO?

Goddamn these boys.

And when Leo takes off the blindfold and realizes that he was tricked BY REIJI, HE GETS MAD AT YUJI???


And every time Yuji tries to apologize, Leo ignores him. And only comes to the “rescue” when he finds out Yuji collapsed. OkAy ThEn-

Tetsuya was not needed in this story at all. Just made the already bigass drama, WORSE.

He thinks that CUTTING SOMEONE WITH A BLADE IS “JUST MESSING AROUND?” WHAT THE FUCK

He comes back and sees Yuji and the first thing that comes to mind is to flirt and NOT SAY SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED?

Okay that’s fucked up- but it’s not entirely his fault.

His parent’s manipulated him into thinking that what he did wasn’t wrong and kept telling him that he and others were just messing around. They TOOK HIM OUT of the school and made him transfer to a new one. AND HE NEVER GOT SCOLDED FOR IT?

He even said himself (when he was a kid) that he wanted to see Yuji and apologize for what happened. He noticed his mistake but was never given the option to say “sorry” or even think about it again by his parents.

His parents are total crap too.

And when Yuji is scared beyond belief when the guy who TRAUMATIZED HIM AND WAS LITERALLY THE SOURCE OF HIS ANTHROPHOBIA was holding his damn wrists, he had the fucking AUDACITY to say, “What’s with you?!” when Yuji was shaking in fear.

And at the hospital he encounters Leo and is confronted by him on why he’s back. Tetsuya says “i’m confused” and “I’m the one with the questions” and so on. And when Leo tells him, “Don’t mess with me, don’t you remember what you did to Yuji?!”

TETSUYA HAS GOT ME ON MY LAST DAMN NERVE WHEN HE SAYS, “It was just a childish prank” FUCK THAT YOU NARROW MINDED ASSHOLE.

And then after Leo punches him and knocks some damn sense into him about what really happened and how he affected Yuji he ONLY NOW REALIZES WHAT HE’S DONE. LIKE BOIIIII YOU’RE AN ACTUAL IDIOT.

Yuji gets out of the hospital and goes.. where you may ask?

TO GET FUCKED AT REIJI’S JOB.

But to also see Leo, since this was his “last resort” to see Leo again.

REIJI JUST HAD TO SEE YUJI GO TO HIS WORK PLACE AND DECIDES TO DO WHAT?

TO FUCK WITH HIM.

AND MESS WITH HIS LIFE BECAUSE IT ISN’T ALREADY DAMN AWFUL DEALING WITH ANTHROPHOBIA AND THE FACT THAT THE ONLY PERSON WHO’S BEEN THERE FOR HIM ISN’T SPEAKING TO HIM ANYMORE, AND THAT TETSUYA, THE SOURCE OF HIS ANTHROPHOBIA CAME BACK AND TERRIFIED THE SHIT OUTTA HIM.

Reiji is mistaken for Yuji when Tetsuya is apologizing for what happened. Reiji TAKES ADVANTAGE of this and keeps pretending to be Yuji. And Reiji KNOWS this is the guy who HURT his brother and basically thinks, “This is the PERFECT I could use to MESS with my brother” Wow sibling love.

Then Reiji takes Tetsuya into his workplace and tells him he “wants to hear how he really feels” THROUGH. A. WALL.

AND THEN BRINGS HIM TO YUJI WHO IS THROUGH THE WALL HAVING HIS ASS UP AND EVERYTHING.

And then Tetsuya just- doesn’t think twice about it!??!?!

He just see’s Yuji’s naked body and goes, “fuck all my sense of reason” and fucks him??!

He fucked Yuji while saying sorry that he basically ruined his entire life. HOW SINCERE.


And Yuji is GETTING MAD AT HIMSELF for getting turned on by someone other than Leo, like okay pop off then.

And when Yuji is crying for help, wanting only Leo to make him feel good, Tetsuya hears his cries for help but just- FORCES HIMSELF ON HIM MORE??

And then Tetsuya has the fucking audacity to say, “This means you’ve accepted me, doesn’t it?” to Yuji

LIKE OH YEAH, YOU FORCED YUJI TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU, RUINED HIS LIFE, HAD ZERO FUCKING MANNERS WHEN YOU SAY YUJI AGAIN, FUCKING THOUGHT YOUR ACTIONS WERE JUST A KID PRANK BY CUTTING SOMEONE IN THE BACK, AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK IF YUJI ACCEPTED YOU AFTER HEARING HIS CRIES FOR HELP. YEAH, YUJI LOVES YOU SOOOOO MUCH NOW ASSHOLE.

AND THEN- OH FUCK AND THEN, HE KISSES YUJI. HA?!?!?

AND THEN REIJI PURPOSELY MAKES LEO WATCH.

Overall review of this story is.. (Reviewed up to ch. 7)

THIS STORY IS PAINFULLY HARD TO READ. AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

There are stories with said tragic endings, but make sense in way. There are stories with shitty characters, but most of them actually have a conscience are genuinely good people. Some stories have asshole siblings in them, but later on the siblings realize their mistakes. Some fucking stories don’t have useless fucking characters in them. SOME STORIES DON’T HAVE A SHITTY PLOT.


Yuji

Yuji is actually not a very bad character. I believe he deserves a better fucking twin and a better Leo goddammit. He deserves better treatment and ACTUAL mental stability. And he would be even better, if he realized his twin is a fucking nightmare. Yuji is the best character in here NO CAP. BUT, I do admit it’s not a good thing that he pretended to be Reiji and go to his workplace in replacement. He went there at first to return Reiji’s phone, but ended up wanted to keep going there to get over his anthrophobia. Had good intentions, but one of the dumbest places to go to, to cure his anthrophobia.


Leo
——

Leo is not THAT bad, but also NOT that good either. He used Yuji’s twin brother as a replacement because he couldn’t handle his heart being crushed. He had sex with Reiji BEHIND YUJI’S BACK and didn’t think he was in the wrong?! What the fuck-

But Leo got some good qualities. He took care of Yuji and walked him home every day so he wouldn’t have to touch people. Leo stuck with Yuji despite what happened as they were kids. Leo was literally the only one who actually gave a flying fuck about what happened to him. He’s good guy! With shitty endurance for his crush on Yuji. He resulted to a toxic, unhealthy path by fucking Reiji cause he looked identical to Yuji, said nothing to clear up confusion between him and Reiji to Yuji, got angry at Yuji and ignored him for days for something that was Reiji’s fault, and now will probably lose his shit seeing Tetsuya and Yuji kiss, even though Leo has done worse things behind Yuji’s back. Wow, relationship goals amirite?

But at LEAST he didn’t physically abuse or hurt Yuji in any way, other than taking his virginity without knowing it.

Tetsuya was a pretty fucking dumbass character. Though he was the only one here that realized his mistake (after getting some sense punched into him by Leo) and tried to apologize. A guy with good intentions with shitty comprehension skills. He really didn’t know he traumatized Yuji when he CUT him? And it wasn’t even a small cut, IT WAS HUGE AS FUCK. And when he say Yuji CRYING with BLOOD covering his back, he thought it was a “childish prank” ? Yeah, okay, his parent’s literally told him it wasn’t his fault and he never actually got in serious trouble for a SERIOUS FUCKING INJURY, it doesn’t change the fact that he’s literally one of the dumbest fucking character here.

THE MOMENT YALL BEEN WAITING FOR- I PRESENT TO YOU..

THIS FUCKING ASSHOLE!

The WORST character in this WHOLE DAMN STORY.

He is literally a sociopath and psychopath’s child. Who MANIPULATED EVERY GODDAMN CHARACTER IN HERE. He VERBALLY ABUSES his brother because of his stupid inferiority complex. Though I understand WHY he would get an inferiority complex, BUT I don’t fucking get WHY he just HAD to make his brother’s life WORSE. He manipulated Leo into using him as a replacement and USED him to make Yuji feel alone. Reiji manipulated TETSUYA into thinking he was Yuji, so that Yuji could get FUCKED by someone other than Leo, so it could terrorize the shit out of him. Reiji made Yuji’s source of anthrophopia fuck him in the ass and have that in his conscience forever. That’s going way too far. Reiji also manipulated Yuji into thinking that he and Leo were dating, just so he could DESTROY the most precious thing to Yuji.

And I admit, Reiji also didn’t have the best childhood. Having his parent’s neglect him for his twin brother, and constantly thinking he was a “failure” compared to his “diligent and smart” twin brother, it doesn’t give him the right to do all this shit to him. AND IT WASN’T EVEN YUJI’S FAULT ANY OF THIS HAPPENED TO HIM.

It wasn’t Yuji’s fault he got anthrophobia, It wasn’t Yuji’s fault that their parent’s only paid attention to him, it wasn’t Yuji’s fault that Tetsuya had ZERO comprehension skills on what happened as children, it wasn’t Yuji’s fault that Reiji had an inferiority complex, AND IT WASN’T YUJI’S FAULT THAT ALL THIS DAMN DRAMA HAPPENED.


It’s all Reiji, Leo, and Tetsuya’s fault if you ask me.

Reiji started it, yes, but Leo went along with it. Tetsuya was just played by Reiji and accidentally got into the drama too.


Overall, this is a shitty story with pretty shitty characters.

Heh- I'd like a man in the streets and a beast in bed-

In this world, a god is born within a 30 - 50 year timely manner. And you'll know they're a god if they're born with a gem on their chest.

Tomoya, the guy with black hair, was born a god. His childhood friend, Tarou, was born a beholder.

A beholder is someone who is born FOR the god. The beholder will be the only one who can truly stay by the god's side without fear or without feeling the need to praise the god.

It seems that wherever Tomoya goes, he gives life to flowers, good things happen, animals clutter, and people pray and praise him. And each time, he shows a smile, even though he's tired of it.

Tarou, is the only one who notices though and treats Tomoya just like any other human being. He treats him like a friend, a lover even.

And Tomoya wants to just be a normal teenage boy. He wants to enjoy things as a human child would and wants to just be free and not have to hold such an upstanding position as a god.

At the age of 18, the god is supposed to leave the human world and go up and serve their place as a god.

But for the first 18 years of his life, he's supposed to stay on the human world and be amongst humans, until his last birthday. His 18th birthday.


It fast forwards to Tomoya and Tarou leaving home and going on a trip, for just the two of them, to get away one last time before Tomoya is gone from the human world.


They embrace each other a day before their birthday as much as they can and tell each other how much they love each other and have longed for the other.

The next morning, on their 18th birthday, as Tarou wakes up, the gem is all that's left.

As Tarou is leaving the establishment, the owner (the old lady) comes back. She tells Tarou that everything will be okay and that he will always belong to Tomoya.

(The old lady had a twin sister who was also born a god)

It fast forwards to the post-festival celebration. Tarou is alone, sitting and watching everyone else have fun with their friends, or lovers.

He is approached by two girls, one that has an interest in Tarou. Tarou is then asked to dance and (kind of) being forced to say yes.

But suddenly as Tarou was about to reply to the girl, there was a tug at his shoulder.

He immediately realizes that it's him, Tomoya. The god, his childhood friend, and lover.

He rejects the girl and leaves to go sit near the post-festival campfire.

With Tomoya, who has returned to Tarou's side.

The catch is, only Tarou is able to see Tomoya.

Talk about dramatic (and pretty cool) exit ~

This was a really cute, heart-throbbing story.

But, I feel like Itsuki deserved more. Itsuki was lied to by his lover for a long time. The trust breaking a bit between them when he asked for the truth but wasn't given it.

Though Itsuki doesn't know what it was like in Airi's shoes, he did get his fair share in "pain" as well.

I feel like, Itsuki didn't get to express how hurt he actually was. Because he was probably trying to be the strong one for the both of them.

Example. The scene where Itsuki and Airi are alone together, Itsuki asks for the truth and is lied to, he confronts him and is lied to again. Itsuki already knows the situation and what the truth really is, but wants to hear it from Airi.

But the more Airi accepts that he really loved his brother in a romantic way, the more it makes him feel ashamed and guilty over his past years.

And I understand why it's hard for him to be able to say the truth after hiding his one-sided love after years. Especially if that unrequited love is a family member.

However, Itsuki still loved Airi. After knowing he's been lied to, after knowing his lover had lingering feelings even after dating him, after being looked at weirdly when they were in public together, after being (somewhat) bullied. He was the one who held on strong for the both of them.

Itsuki didn't cry, nor complain, he didn't yell or use any violence. He confronted the problem and waited for Airi to clear his mind and get his shit together.

Itsuki WAITED, LOVED, and STILL heard him out WITHOUT RUNNING AWAY from the problem or AVOIDING it.

Airi also learned to give up on Yuuichi and be able to love someone else more.

And after thinking everything through, he admitted that he lied and that he loved his older brother. He told the truth.

And Itsuki accepted him even then.

Overall, Itsuki is the best damn character in here.
