The start was good but later on the MC became such a pushover to the ML and this is what I hate about chinese stories the most! Why can't chinese authors just let FMCs be strong and independent if that's their character description lol what's the need to make them subservient to sexual harassment fuck that trope

Read the novel and it’s legit good

I've been reading this on zin manga and honestly I'm only giving two stars for the translator's efforts. Shit story and shit characters. The MC is an annoying pushover when it comes to the ML and the ML is an overly jealous megalomaniac misogynistic asshole with anger management issues. So many subplots that it's just dragging. Has lots of dubious consent and maybe possibly Stockholm syndrome so if that's not your cup of tea then I beg you to stay away from this mess. I might drop this sooner or later because the story isn't going anywhere. I really tried to read it and I'm on 250+ but the strong female lead I came for isn't really strong.

Now I just feel like I have to finish what I started but it's so bad. Read something else.
