Luckily I found out in the sequel of the manga that their tongues and private areas are just like humans the only difference is the size changes depending on what kind of animal they transform into.

And felines have barbs on their penises that prevent the female from escaping during mating. Imagine the barbs that are on a cat's tongue for grooming, except on their penis instead. The barbs face backwards toward the male cat's body. So, when they insert it goes in smoothly, but the barbs catch when pulling out. When the penis is flaccid, the barbs relax and deflate a bit, but when erect, the barbs stand up. They also have a bone in their penis called the "os penis" that allows them to enter even if their penis is not engorged and erect. * I'm a former veterinary technician who worked in a clinic that specialized in artificial insemination.
