Tbh I truly disliked the main character… he wasn’t the perfect lead that u genuinely hope makes it through all his trials. I think that’s why I didn’t like him, he often reflected parts that I hate about myself. But when he dies, death forces him to live the lives of thirteen more people until they die. Each of them are bound to soon die, but if he manages to avoid this death, he can live out the rest of their life. The story was interesting and changed the way he viewed himself and the world.

I read this one a vv long time ago. I’ve always been sentimental and an over thinker so this story was perfect for me, especially at the time I read it. In a world where our dreams are shot down immediately this story about a mysterious magician brought so much hope for me and my own future.
