When i first read and now rereading I honestly thought the author was gonna make a second couple with the asshole senior and juwon's best friend. It was giving enemies to lovers troupe. I only say this because of how the friend was constantly saying he wasn't in practice, he should graduate, and the first to get mad lmao. Anyways I'm glad there wasn't though cause I love how it was just one couple.
I'm kinda sad they're not gonna show their marks. We end with them not knowing and there's so many plot holes left. I'm kinda sad really. I prefer this one over the original.
I reread this and it's still my top fav it's so beautifully written and Lyle is relatable. I just love them so much he must be protected.

Well deserved on both ends. A happy ending for our main and sad for next couple but he deserved to lose him after what he was doing to our main couple. Secretary is to be protected.
Mmmm, the author cooked with this one. Yall, i can't remember a piece like this where a man is having a back and forth argument with himself and justifying a different way of handling his business but imagining what he really wants. Man was having a crisis. I love it lmao.

I don't know if some don't understand what grooming does to a child who's being s**ually ab*** especially by a family member with power. Yes we should still call out toxic behavior from everyone including those who are victims but no where should we decide how one should cope with that trauma. It's very common to see different sides, one wants to hide it to protect the one not affected, feelings of being unloved and seeing yourself as tainted is common for a survivor to feel, while one side who saw someone is going through the same thought they would be there for them but realized that wasn't the case which is still horrible to feel and that can do damage to them as well. The way both characters ended up even as adults isn't all that shocking to me. We shouldnt judge how each experience or how they want to deal with their trauma, they both need help. However the abuse they're causing others is not okay. The middle brother is asshole but if he knew what was happening to both his brothers I don't think he would care about the father. The old brother is a gaslighter for sure and what hes doing now as adult isnt okay. He's not protecting the abuser but his younger brother and uses Minjae as a way to get his way. And minjae using this dude for his revenge isn't okay too. The real true villain is the pedophile, the father. He probably stopped abusing the older brother as soon as he got older which probably why he adopted Minjae too.
