The girlfriend is so nice to him and he just “forgot” inviting her was an option. Even if he doesn’t like her romantically she’s a better friend than him. I know what road we’re bout to go down…
I think it’s realistic in terms of depicting a queer person in a straight relationship. The feeling is that dating them is what you’re supposed to do, but no you don’t really want to hang out with them all the time because you don’t actually like them or feel comfortable in your relationship so avoidance when possible and hanging out when you feel you “have to” is pretty common and subconscious. Yeah I would say it isn’t nice or good friend behavior but when you’re struggling with internalized homophobia or fear of violence and isolation you might be thinking of survival before the feelings over others. I appreciate they’re not just depicting his as an apathetic bf but a genuinely depressed struggling queer youth (based one the oneshot and ch 4 revelations)
There's a manhwa with a similar plot! It's not BL, but it's very entertaining. It's called Sweet Home, and it also has a Netflix series (≧▽≦) (it even has a prequel called Shotgun Boy)
I kinda wish they explored going up separately as omega and alpha more. It’s such an interesting world building tool and it’s not really that important or prominent rn.
same i feel like most omegaverse manhwas only show male/female segregation but never omega/alpha ones like wdym a male omega and a male alpha going to the same bathroom

Plus then something happening in that bathroom, and all the teachers are like "Uhm... no we definitely shouldn't change anything"

It's very likely a "you were just going along with it" boyfriend type thing. Bro is passive all around it looks like
