Ahhh... When we're not represented by Netflix, Hollywood and media as terrorists,backward, violent and sexist people, we're being represented like this in a manga...there so much things wrong with this work I cant even count anymore
Why are they marrying in a church when the guy is supposed to be a sheik (and supposedly a religious man of islam) it doesn't make any sense
And what's with the sheik thing, the author seems to seriously confond sheik and oil king which are total opposite but well.
For those who don't know, a sheik is a leader of royal family or tribe in arabic countries or the term can be used to talk about Muslim scholars, and I believe sheik is more used in the latter case. But be it the latter meaning or the first ,if someone is to be a sheik (leader), the requirement would be he will be a religious person as the country's religious but in this manga , the guy do a lot of thing that go against the religious way of life. I know the mangaka don't want to be political and don't talk about religion wich is fine, but at least don't put thing that completely go against the principles of the country's religion (like harem for example)

they really want to represent it like men in arabia are surrounded by harems and such, are rich ... So fetishizing and just offending
Of course some arabic men are greedy and live such a life but it's NOT the majority at all, there's greedy people in all countries, all centuries. And like said before it completely contradicts the country's religion and principles

Some of you are hating on this story because the FL seems like a damsel in distress, but I find this actually really realistic. Of course I absolutely stan a powerful and independent woman, but y'all need to understand that in the same situation as the FL we would exactly have the same behavior. She don't know the language, there's zombies that tries to kill her, she's just a frail woman in a world dominated by lustful men that tries to rape her wherever she goes, foreigners are being looked upon and used in mines. She can't trust anyone , she can't even defend herself if someone where to hurt her because she litterally don't have the physical force (initially frail body plus the fact that she didn't ate for a week). This is pretty realistic to me. She don't have any superpower or don't have any incredible physical force, she's juste like you and I. Even big strong men in this world can't protect themselves against zombies so what as a frail woman can she do? If a man catch her , what will she be able to do apart cry and struggle to escape? Plus she has some backstory with her mother, and she seems to have some trauma as a child, so of course she will not be as strong-willed and confident in herself as someone that grew with a loving environment.
And for those might think that she acted like a "slut" by using her womanly charms on the ML, listen, I am one of the most religious woman in my whole family , so chastity is something extremely important to me. But in the same situation as the FL, I would do exactly what she did it. I would use any means to survive. After all she's been through, she has to survive by any means and keep the ML by her side to protect her. It was either that, or she dies by being abandonned.
Realistic stories like this are refreshing to me.

Yeah I think she was really desperate at this point and by seeing a home with light she might have thought a family lived here. She didn't really think twice and knocked on the door, but again when you're desparate and being chased by zombies ans rapers ,I understand that your brain can't fonction normaly.

I was actually explaing what happened in detail but everything I wrote was deleted because I accidentally refreshed the page well in a nutshell, He's a real real REAL sicko who tortures girls and is excited by it (like he litterally have a boner when he does it or think about it) and when I say tourturing girls , I mean that he rapes them, then cut off all their limbs , disfigure some of them and pull out all of their hair for some , until they don't even look human anymore. And he collects a lot of jars with hands, feet, eyes , intestine of his previous victims etc... In it. And he keeps pictures with him smiling and doing a peace sign with his victims in yhe background who don't have limbs anymore and have empty eyes from all the torturing. One of his victim was even pregnant and he just stepped on her belly (and then proceeded to torture her and take out all her limbs like we can see in a picture). And they were also plans and sketches of the dismembered FL , so he was planning to torture her and kill her like all the others. The FL discoverd all that in a closet in the house while the guy is out, but then he comes back finding the FL still shocked before the closet. And then she tries to escape but he attack her , strangle her , she faints and she wake up attached on a chair and he tortures her by removing her nails and he plans to remove her limbs (with a saw he bought while he was out , so it means that he was going to execute his plan anyway even if the girl didn't discovered everything) and he's sexually aroused about it. And what comes next is totally what the fuck I don't understand what happened in the mangaka's head but well here it is.
The girl somehow manages to attach the guy and she cut all of his limbs in the bathroom, then when he woke up from the "surgery" and somehow he became mentally challenged,like he acts like a dog and can't talk anymore. The reason why she cut his limbs instead of killing him is because she can't resolve herself to kill him so I think she cuts his lims to put him in a position where he can't hurt anyone anymore.Then we have a timelaps and the FL is married with a guy and she's modeling again and in her house , where she and her husband live , she keeps the guy who still acts like a dog in a room ( he have a diaper and all that weird sh*t). And the husband don't even seem to care about that wtf? But it dosen't seem like he FL is keeping the guy because she still like him or anything but it's just that she kinda feel guilty or something like that I think? I can't read chinese so I couldn't understood the raws but here you go, the images are very explicits anyway so it's not hard to understand
And all his victims are women, he seems to have a grudge against women because of his moher.
