Sorry, are you telling me you didn't even converse with a girl before you start plotting to get not just her entire family but her entire clan to kill themselves so she would survive in the palace and not get r*ped and/or killed by his twin brother? I don't care even if they got reincarnated or whatnot, the first emperor barely knew the maiden of heaven for like a week before he was trying to convince her to come back with him. The ML can say all he'd like that the emperor would've loved the maiden of heaven regardless of what she looked like, but they barely knew each other??? Like I so agree with the mom that it was both the emperor and the husband's faults that caused the maiden of heaven to die, though the husband more so of course. And then the ML killed all the remaining Yul the moment word of them spread to "protect" the MC even through 10 years of not even laying eyes on her or knowing who she was as a person? Like maybe he was getting reports from spies about her ig but that's still f-ed up. That's not love, that's obsession.

There's also so many other plot holes to this. If the Yul are all beautiful, and the nanny was also a Yul, why didn't the prev emperor use her as MC's replacement? Was she simply a retainer or something and not an actual clan member? In which case why would she have told her husband in the epilogue as if she was a clan member? Why didn't the ML just kill the brother instead of making weirdly elaborate plans to traumatize his brother about fire so he'd never be able to have s*x with the MC. If he was the only other emperor candidate, the people would have had to accept him as emperor if the brother died whether he was cursed or not unless they wanted to rebel, and even then he could have pacified the people immediately by saying he could break the curse with the MC so it didn't matter anymore. Like, I just have so many questions because none of this shit is making sense. And then we didn't even get good smut?? I would've been way more lenient on the plot if the smut was better because I know what I was here for. But the smut was not smutting and the plot was not plotting :/

Yeah the ending was abrupt and wasn’t quite satisfying but like they’re a cute couple and regardless of Shion being a girl or a guy Rui loves them and Shion loves him, and isn’t that really all that matters? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
