This manga is definitely worth to read. Its definitely one of the classics you can read, the anime adaptation was done very well, Advise if you havent watch it yet, After watching the Anime adaptation, Read volume 19, Banana Fish manga, where youll see the epilouge of the story. This is the true ending..a heartbreaking ending. They didnt adapted garden of light and angel's eyes so you have to read it, Enjoy...

I ever wonder how this Comics is popular, the comic is literally disturbing and if theres someone genuinely say they “kin” hooni pls get some help, i swear this comic is dreadful to read. I hope people with suicidal tendencies able to get past these thoughts and recover. I for one going to drop this cuz its really painful to see hooni struggle. Like god do people even want to see a kid cutting himself? NO. Ill pick this up again if i heard hooni will able to get help in the future or some kind of decent friends help him. ((im so concern to the people have hooni as their pfp.)) do understand.
however, it's really good to see the things we go through in a comedy. idk if it's just me, but having to read books where the mc is happy go lucky all the time hurts... while they might be triggering to some people, it feels reliving to me personally
