I don’t undertand the hate on the co-worker, she misunderstood HaeSoo’s situation becasue Hae Soo tolder her she was married. I really hope they could be friends if they cleared up the misunderstanding

Indeed. At the beginning she warned Taeha about Haeso’ beeing married cuz if the FL lead had a different personality she could have played with him in her mind.
They aren’t that close to just talk with each other and they keep some distance between them.
Also the coworker is a lot younger she can’t relate to the FL current life situation.

Here’s all the reasons why there’s hate. She wasn’t always hated, people DID like her and even shipped her with the bodyguard of taeha in the beginning. But since the story revealed her backhanded comments and behavior, readers realized her true nature
Chapter 1: Blue haired female coworker from another job gets mad for haesoo because people called her “ahjumma.” Says, “Nobody calls someone your age ahjumma these days! You can get mad every once in a while!
This is an example of an actual good coworker with good intentions. She notices that the title of “ahjumma” IS offensive. The only reason haesoo doesn’t take offense is because she already has low self esteem and believes it.

Chapter 2: Coworker insists that taeha likes haesoo. When haesoo denied it, coworker insisted saying: “Aye, you don’t know anything. Nowadays younger men dating older women is the trend. You never know, maybe he’s genuinely interested.” Then haesoo tells her she’s taken.
So she’s the one who literally brought it up first and planted the idea in haesoo’s head that young guys go for older women and encourages haesoo.

Chapter 3: Coworker still insisting taeha likes haesoo. Asks her: “What are you going to do? You said you had a boyfriend. So are you going to turn down roses? Or maybe switch your boyfriend to him?”

Chapter 8: Coworker says: “I’m sorry unnie, I guess I was mistaken in thinking that rose guy was interested in you. These days he only buys flowers from me. When I see that I feel like I made you misunderstand for no reason, so I feel a little sorry. Ah~ rose, when will you come~! Your voice is so good, I can’t wait to hear it!” All with a smile on her face. Then is shocked and is thinking “This is crazy, what the hell. What the hell are those two doing?” When taeha approaches haesoo instead.

Chapter 23: Coworker wonders if taeha likes haesoo. Once haesoo asked, “could he really like me?” Coworker frowns, immediately responds with: “Unnie, your jokes are something else. No matter what, there’s no way he actually likes you. When people were talking about age gaps before, that was just a joke cause you look pretty for your age. Honestly what does rose guy lack that he’d ignore all the other girls around him and be obsessed with you? Unless there’s a huge hidden story between you two, unless theres something like that, does it even make sense to say he likes you? Even love at first sight only happens when the levels match. It doesn’t make sense right? A guy like him, there’s no way he likes an ahjumma without a reason.”
Notice what that she calls haesoo, “unnie” but also refers to her as an ahjumma. She also contradicts what she said before that young guys go for older girls. And goes on a long unnecessary tangent of why haesoo will never be liked by a young and handsome guy.

Chapter 34: comes up with her own assumption that haesoo lied she was divorced.
Chapter 35: chooses to talk with a man she doesn’t know to warn him based off her own assumption that haesoo lied that she was divorced. Taeha says: “wouldn’t you normally worry about the person you know?” She says, “An old divorcee, trying to date a younger guy!”
Notice the fact that she always calls haesoo “unnie” to her face but whenever she’s upset or talking behind her back, she calls haesoo old and an ahjumma. She is the type of person to ACT nice and says stuff for “her well-being.” But she secretly looks down on haesoo. At one point she also points out that haesoo only wore 2 pieces of clothing while laughing that it started to look sad. She’s one of those girls who give backhanded comments.
Chapter 61: Sure she tells off the creepy guy and is about to warn haesoo, but stops when she sees haesoo looking happy. She frowns yet again and thinks since she has a man now, she’ll be fine. Deciding against warning her just cause she’s got a young bf now. If she truly cared she would’ve warned her regardless.
I am silently screaming! Tae-Ha always looks so breathtaking!
