I think she has an acute case of Stockholm syndrome, in the past her illness was way worse than it is now. In this life she is learning how to love but because of those traumatic events that the abuser put her through, she still gets flashbacks if similar events happen. What's worse is that she meets her abuser from time to time and it can't be avoided since she is a celebrity. (￣∇￣")
