it’s part of her character. she’s supposed to be a boring old woman who’s man left her because she’s “withered”. the artist for sure can draw colorful clothes but her wardrobe is clearly restrained to fit her character and the beginning part of this story where she has still unresolved past, issues with her self-esteem. if you just have patience as a reader, you’ll get there. i’ve read these types of comments a lot and it’s getting annoying honestly. if u want a basic ass manhwa where her character development starts at chapter 5, go find it somewhere else

You obviously have no idea how harsh poverty is. I say that her wearing the same clothes proves that thinking of new clothes is a luxury that only those who have money can afford to.

It's not exactly limited to poverty tbh. I gain steady middle-class income right now with little debt to think of yet I keep cycling through my same 8 outfits throughout the week. Clothes do feel like a luxury and I am scared to splurge on extras despite can easily afford it.

Remember they made a big deal of Taeha getting her a sweater, then they made a big deal of her getting new underwear, her wearing the same old tattered clothes is part of her character, she hasn't worn much of what she bought with Taeha so I'm guessing that will be something they use to show character development

To me it felt like he fell in love during him courting her. And since she fit his personality it was insanity and love for him he liked how she treated him with disgust and I m guessing he liked that she wasn't like the other women who would've ran away when forced to do his naughty plays. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ he just fell for her in the process of marrying for convenience

In the novel is possible to see how much he loves her and he thinks she’s pretty. It’s always described how he looks at her with love and care in his eyes

I do think he finds her attractive. At least that's the impression I got. In chapter 43 he said her personality drew him in, but he wouldn't have married her if she wasn't his type. I think through his actions he seems to care a lot about her.

Yes, I interpreted like he wouldn’t marry just anyone because they’re into bdsm. He does find her very attractive (but other people think she isn’t a striking beauty and her looks are rather common, which doesn’t necessarily mean she’s ugly)
